Former 'View' panelist Star Jones had heart surgery Wednesday related to a rarely-performed surgery she had three decades ago after developing a thoracic tumor, a rep confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE. "On Wednesday, March 17th, a pre-planned cardiac surgery was performed on Star Jones," the statement read. "This recent surgery is a follow-up to the thoracic surgery she had 30 years ago. The procedure was successful and she is recovering well with her family. Star is grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers."
In 2003, she underwent gastric bypass surgery and subsequently lost 160 lbs.

Well, I don't know if she should forgive or not. Question is can she forgive & forget. I would have to know what she is made of first. Myself - I couldn't! I would never be able to get the image of those two all tatooed up rolling in the hay. Too much for me. SANDRA, if you are reading this....if you take your vows as serious as God does, this is the for better for worse. I know that it's heart breaking, and so does God but God says that vengence is His and not yours, be the loving caring wife, mother, daughter and sister that you are. People are going to talk and this is nothing new under the sun, as well as you can never satisfy people, only yourself and God. When it's all said and done at the end of the day have no regrets and know that you did things that were acceptable and pleasing in God's eyesight and to Sandra. Mimi I know you mean well but I really doubt that God would want Sandra to stick with someone who has made her miserable and in all likelyhood will do this again. Besides, if you really are religious you know that God wouldn't have wanted him to divorce his first wife so unless he got a annulment, he is in fact still married to either his first or second wife in the eyes of God and whatever church he belongs. Sandra would be well rid of him - if that is what SHE chooses.
