Report: Conrad Murray Stopped CPR on Michael Jackson to Remove Drug Vials

New disturbing images of Michael Jackson's June 25 death have been revealed. According to a report from the Associated Press, Dr. Conrad Murray stopped administering CPR on the stricken star and delayed calling 911 so that he could dispose of drug vials in the room.

The report continues that Jackson's children, Prince and Paris, entered the room and cried as they watched Dr. Murray administer mouth-to-mouth.

The account was given to investigators in August by Alberto Alvarez, Jackson's logistics director. He was summoned to the pop star's side by another Jackson aide who received a frantic call from Murray after Jackson was unresponsive.

Alvarez said the doctor stopped CPR so he could hand him drug vials and told him to put them in a bag. It wasn't immediately clear what drugs were inside the vials Alvarez referred to when speaking to investigators, but TMZ reported Alvarez told investigators he saw Murray hiding bottles of propofol in a closet near the room where Jackson died.

Jackson died from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol and two other sedatives administered by Murray.

Murray's lawyer questioned Alvarez's account, saying that in an earlier statement to police he did not mention the vials.

Seriously, does this surprise anyone? This yes-doctor was riding the Michael Jackson gravy train and in the end was worried more about covering his own butt. I really hope he does time.

I cannot believe that this man has not been arrested and charged for MJ's death. Good grief, if this isn't a case of "malpractice" then I don't know what is!!

Haven't you figured this out yet? This is going to be another "OJ" trial...if the "glove doesn't fit; you must acquit". MJ WAS a drug addict and had turned himself "white". The doctor WAS administering MJ meds and he (the Dr.) was "black" .....so whose to blame? It can't be MJ because he was "black"; no wait he was "white"...oh who knows anymore. And it can't be his doctor because he is "black". Oops, I guess we don't have a "glove" this time! But, there are two blacks in this case (or at least one black and one "used to be" black), so in all reality, "nobody's" going to be blamed.

I guess I don't have all the facts. What I know so far is that the vials were not previously mentioned. I'm left to wonder why? Are vials of Propofol that easy to detect w/out reading them? Questions that need to be answered.

Yes,Propofol is easily identified by sight as it is a milky white liquid, quite unlike any other IV meds. The Doctor should loss his license to practice and go to jail for life. The credo is "First Do No Harm"

Even though I believe Dr. Murray's medical practice was callous with Michael's life, we must all face the fact that Michael was used to having his way and encouraged this practice for his sleep disorder & pain management. So I believe the scales of blame are balanced. Dr. Murray will suffer enough by living with the fact that he helped kill one of the most consummate entertainers of all time. People will always mock,shun & degrade him for the rest of his life. Prison without bars.

Michael Jackson may have been used to getting his way, but it is the doctor's responsibility to ensure the health of his patient. That means saying "NO" once in a while instead of feeding MJ's addiction.

6 of one, a half dozen of another. We should just face the fact that those we might look up to, especially those in entertainment or sports, are in no way the heroes we believe they are. The true heroes are the teachers, the fire fighters, honest cops, and so many others who do their job because it's their job, and not because they're expecting big bucks to be doing it. We always know this, but it always bears retelling.

I didn't have any love for MJ (because I still believe him to be a pedophile), but it sickens me to see his death caused by his doctor, if that turns out to be the situation. MJ was/is no different from Elvis Presley, another star who died from addiction, or any of the other, incredibly neurotic celebrities who can't accept or deal with what others think of them. But even these people are human, and have all the human failings we all do.

The minor who charged him later recanted his story, too little too late but whatever. What ticks me off is that no one thought to get those kids out of the room while the doctor was working on him. Call MJ what you want, but no child deserves to watch their parent die like that.
