Tiger Woods: 'I've Hurt So Many People'

In his first interviews since his apology press conference, Tiger Woods talks about the extent of his infidelity.

"I made my mistakes and I've hurt so many people and so many people I have to make amends to," he says in a five-minute chat with ESPN.

"That's living a life of amends," Woods adds.

"I didn't know I was that bad," the troubled golfer explains, when asked why he didn't seek treatment for his sex-addiction before the news of his many affairs came out. Watch It

He's hopeful about his return to the sport. "I'm excited to get back and play. I'm excited to see the guys again."

"But still, I still have a lot more treatment to do. Just because I'm playing, doesn't mean I'm going to stop going to treatment," Woods continues.

In a second sit-down with Golf Channel, Tiger discussed what his father would have said to him, PEOPLE reports.

"He'd be very disappointed in me. We would have numerous long talks. And that's one of the things I miss – I miss his guidance."

It seems golf is the only thing on Woods mind. I guess this is all he knows and maybe he isnt any good at much else. His wife isnt top of the list. He hardly ever mentions his cute children. He loves the limelight, all to himself. Very self centered man. Hope he makes it thru the Masters in one piece. Crowds can get out of hand.

He can be as contrite as he wants, but both he and his sponsors will NEVER get another dollar from me. And not for nothing but Tiger is damaged goods and I wouldn't go near him if I was a sponsor anyway.

I love how he said "I did not know I was that bad" are you kidding me? Even one girl is no excuse for ANY married man! If you want to go "get some" get a divorce period.
People say it is none of our biz, he is only human, maybe it is none of our biz (even though some of us have children that looked up to him) as far as being human? Wow I did not know that having 19 plus affairs would be excused because "we are human" so to the men who say this, what if your wife had 19 affairs? I guess you would just say "she is human" I am sure you would put your loving arms around her at night! Good for you;)

No one is saying it is ok but it IS NONE of our business. It really is between Tiger and his wife. Just because someone is a public figure, does not give the public the right to hound them night and day prying into their sex lives. Now, if the public figure is a politician, who is being paid by the tax payers, then we might have a right to know about it. We elect them to office and expect them to be ethical.

Tiger Woods did not hurt me. My investment was in his abilities as a golf pro only. He hurt his family and perhaps those closest to him, if they weren't covering the whole time, but as for the rest of us, get real and get over it.

Tiger by the tail? hmmmmmmmm Let's see now, don't birds of a feather flock together? We don't know how much affection his wife gave him while using him. I don't like what he did, but it's his kids that will hurt forever. He's no different than other golfers that take out his frustration on a ball rather than keeping his own in check. He probably is a whimp and didn't stand up to her. Readers will never know the whole truth about any of the reasons, because then these types, whether rich or poor will have to face up to it. There are some that get help and there are good decent couples that work hard and make a marriage work.

Amazing, two adultries by two different men. One man is sructinized by the media because he didn't tell them what they wanted to know when they wanted it, and the other man and his mistress, but mostly his mistress is being scrutinized by the media. One was a intentionally created, spun out of control media attack on the man's character. The other is simply treated as a woman trying to get her fifteen minutes of fame from the affair. One is still be push almost five months later. The other will fade away in about a months time or until the next celebrity or his/her partner cheats.

CAN WE SAY OUR MEDIA IS BLATANLY DOUBLE STANDARD.
