Susan Powter Takes on Gabourey Sidibe's Weight

Famed workout expert Susan Powter took to YouTube to warn Gabourey Sidibe about her weight, in a rant that expressed her concern for the actress.

"Let me tell you something, Gabby, because Gabby's the only one who matters here, your weight is going to affect everything in your life -- from every breath you take, because a human body carrying that much fat is under the burden," she explains in her video.

"Your weight, child, is going to affect every moment of your day, certainly your career. You are in an industry where you're going to be judged microscopically," the 'Stop the Insanity' guru adds. Watch It:

"Howard is telling the truth," Susan continues, referring to comments Howard Stern made on his radio show.

"There's the most enormous, fat black chick I've ever seen. She is enormous. Everyone's pretending she's a part of show business and she's never going to be in another movie," Stern said after Gabby lost the Best Actress award at the Oscars.

"Judged by her weight? Totally and absolutely. You ain't going to change that. But can we at least stop denying that it's real? Gabby, dear, here's the thing: You are way too young, way too young to be this diseased. Diseased. Not comfortable. Not connected with your body. You can be fat and anything you would like to be, but your chances are less in many industries in much of the world because we live in a world that judges that," Powter's speech went on.

At the end of the video, "to be cont." was posted. So expect more from Powter.

Susan, I disagree. As she is a lesbian woman (she has admitted this and back in the day it wasn't as accepted as now), how dare she JUDGE someone else in this type of manner, lest SHE too be judged. How sad of her! We all must find a way to accept folks and stop throwing stones at glass houses.

Wow. I used to like Susan Powter. She gave a "shout out" to Gabby on YouTube? That is a very hurtful and tacky way to get cheap advertising! If she was actually concerned about Gabby she could have contacted Gabby directly. Did you do that SP? Did you offer your services privately to Gabby first? Perhaps barter for publicity? No? Hmm, not suprised. No wonder you agree with Howard Stern you have about as much class as he does. You are just like him (but broke), you both gain notariety by being cruel. Unless Gabby asks you for you opinion Ms. Powter, please keep your opinion of Gabby to yourself. Thank you.

howard was right about one thing: if there's a sequel to 'Blindside' Gabourey really could play the Ravens' offensive line. She could holdout for that or try her best to gain some control over her weight and actually have a career as an actress.

Does Susan Powter really think she's saying something that everyone isn't already aware of? We all know this. Gabourey knows this. She's been overweight all her life,so I doubt this ass has to tell her about discrimination and about how tough it's going to be. Seriously, this was probably the biggest tribute to the obvious I've seen in a while.

I, too, am sick of someone who's used their 15 minutes, saying the name Gabourey Sidibe and then AOL reporting on it. It's annoying. Leave the woman alone. Is she healthy? No, but there are unhealthy skinny people out there, too, and they all have the right to be happy and live as they chose. Hey, I just voiced an opinion about an obese girl, who's gonna report about it?
