In the grand tradition of the musician biopic -- made famous by films like 'Walk the Line' and 'Ray,' and already lampooned by 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story' -- the geniuses at FunnyOrDie have filmed a 'trailer' for a biopic of Weird Al Yankovic, the eminent parody songsmith of our time. The star-powered clip places Aaron Paul of 'Breaking Bad' fame into the Weird Al role and also features Olivia Wilde, Gary Cole, Patton Oswalt and Mary Steenburgen (and keep your eyes peeled for the ace cameo by The Weird One himself). Try not to weep at the fact that it won't become an actual film.

Hey, Al, let them make a movie about you!!! I still say thank you for the HUGE can of chicken soup and have the HUGE soup cup that came with it that you sent me when I was sick with the flu 10 years ago!!! Love ya, Weird!!!

The best parody is done when it closely resembles the real thing. That's why Yancovic is so brilliant and that's why this is so good. Do the film, but please do it in this spirit; a parody of the genre'. That would be the ultimate tribute to
Weird Al.

Weird Al is the greatest! I've been a fan since he was sending in tapes to the Dr. Demento show. The early tapes were unpolished, just Al and his accordian, but you could see the potential lurking. His videos are hilarious. And his fan appeal crosses the ages. My 80 something father is a fan, and I know of grade schoolers who are fans. You can't have enough Weird Al.

OMG! That was GREAT! Too bad it's not going to be a real movie, because I would totally watch it. Been a Weird Al fan since the early 80's. I STILL laugh every time I watch UHF.

Does Weird Al plan on doing a parody of
Rihanna's Rude Boy music video, especially
in those crazy multi-colored layers?
Even Weird Al has done that before on
Square One TV with "Patterns", so he's no
stranger to that kind of concept. Food
Boy would make the perfect song for him,
because who loves food and crazy colors
better than Weird Al Yankovic?

The clips seem so over the top cliche that I hope the movie has more cleverness to it.
Hey Al...I am very disappointed you didn't do a parody of "living la vida loca"..it was prime for accordian version as "living la vida polka" - shame on you!
