James Cameron Plays With Fire, Calls Glenn Beck a Raving 'Madman'

James Cameron thinks Glenn Beck is a dangerous "madman" with "poisonous" ideas, but he'd love to have a dialog with him, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Oh, Beck will have a dialog alright, but it will likely involve a chalkboard and the words "socialist" and "progressive."

The 'Avatar' director lashed out at FOX News' increasingly influential star at a press conference supporting the DVD release of his hit film, but the mood got dark when he was asked about Beck. "Glenn Beck is a f*****g a**hole. I've met him. He called me the anti-Christ and not about 'Avatar.' He hadn't even seen 'Avatar' yet. I don't know if he has seen it."

The famously blunt Oscar winner was likely referring to Beck's reaction to his 2007 documentary 'The Lost Tomb of Jesus,' which casts doubt on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Later, Cameron toned down the rhetoric while further discussing Beck: "I think, you know what, he may or may not be an a**hole, but he certainly is dangerous, and I'd love to have a dialog with him."

When asked to expand on why he believes Beck is dangerous, he explained, "Because his ideas are poisonous."

"I couldn't believe when he was on CNN. I thought, what happened to CNN? Who is this guy? Who is this madman? And then, of course, he wound up on Fox News, which is where he belongs, I guess."

Keep an eye out for Beck's response on either his radio show or on FOX.

Yeah.. a madman, or a loser... with facts to actually back up what he says. I can see why Liberals, and Progressives hate him. Like what he says or not, no one can deny that he at least uses "FACTS" to back up his claims. And in fact most of what this guy has been saying for years... is happening? So how is "HE" the madman and the loser?

Why are all the insults aimed at the conservatives more fitting to the lunatic left-wingers and socialists (like Obama and the Hollywood crowd)??? The haters and those that "blindly follow" seem to be the Obama followers and left-wingers. G. Beck merely asks questions and has observations.....hardly a danger....unless Stalin and Hitler are your ideas of propriety.

James Cameron is typical Hollywood. Translation: Raw Sewage Swirling The Bowl. As much as I like movies, I'd like to see them all disappear even more...

Mike, have you ever actually taken the time to research any of Becks talking points on your own? The man takes a major dump on history and you ill-informed walk away saying it smells like roses. Either go to school or stay in Texas, your blind appeal towards emotional hussies isn't respected by anyone outside of your ilk.

I don't watch Beck. I haven't seen that clunky movie, either. But to call either morons or losers seems to me to be more self-criticism than reality. They're both successful millionaires, so I don't think they qualify for your insults. Why don't you try getting off welfare and making something of yourself?
