Yesterday, Justin Bieber was celebrating the release of his new batch of cuts, 'My World 2.0'. Today, the 16-year-old flop top is dealing with the arrest of his manager and confidant, Scott "Scooter" Braun, who surrendered to Nassau County police on Wednesday in connection with a fan frenzy at a mall there.
Speaking of frenzy, Bieber's loyal fan base has already taken to Twitter to defend Braun, 28:
@LaurenHeaps: The police won't arrest real criminals, but they'll arrest @scooterbraun for something stoopid (sic). @Love_Bieber1: He's responsible for finding the most awesomest sexiest cutest and not to forget best-est singer of our generation!!!!
They even attempted to make #freescooter a trending topic, but Twitter flags anything including "free" and then something that can be a product ("scooter") as commercial spam. They have since adjusted to #freescooterbraun.
Braun's arrest stems from a planned mall appearance in November by Bieber. While waiting for him to arrive, the crowd of nearly 3,000 screaming kids and parents began getting a touch rowdy. Police asked Braun to alert fans via Twitter that the event was going to have to be canceled, but prosecutors say it took Braun an hour and a half to send two tweets. His lawyer asserts it took just seven minutes to get the word out.
Five people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries and police also arrested a vice president from Bieber's record label, Island Def Jam Records. They say he too wasn't cooperating with attempts to disperse the crowd.
Braun faces up to a year in jail if convicted.

I have no idea what the big deal is about this little dweeb. I see no talent what so ever. Hopefully he will disappear quickly. Will probably end up on "Celebrity Rehab".
Need I remind you people that you are talking about a 16 y/o child. I don't mind the kids listening to him. He doesn't appear raunchy and he appears to be a wholesome enough role model for kids. They could be idolizing a lot worse. Besides, everyone had that one celebrity crush. Leave him alone.

This is just stupid. I don't see why it is necessary for them to arrest Scooter just because he didn't tweet fast enough. What if he couldn't tweet right then and there? I personally think it is stupid that they arrested them for this. I mean seriously What has he done wrong? I am on his and Justin's side because this is just stupid.
i love justin drew bieber and to arrest scooter is wrong and his voice is amamzing and if u dont like him fine but keep it to yopurself cause none wants to here it hes my fav singer and i love him to death(:
i don't know a thing about this kid. but is his fan base is so big don't they need to have cops around. that would protect some kids from getting hurt. you would think they would have learned from the justin and brittany times.
