This is not a big deal. Newspapers and other media have been keeping pre-written obits that they update from time to time for celebrities and famous people for a long time now. If any news organization was blindsided by the death of Britney Murphy or Heath Ledger its because they were slack, or they cut back on staff too much.

This is very sad about Lindsey Lohan I hope she isn't the next one to be gone like the young stars of Hollywood but she is heading that way but I hope that Lindsey gets her life turned around. I agree with what Billy Bush said last week on Access Hollywood same thing as I'm saying.

Every major publication has obits pre-written, with biographical details of anyone news worthy. This is just an attempt to create some sort of "shock value" piece. I had a seventh grade humanities teacher that made us write our own obits... as morbid as it was, it really made us think about what we were doing with our lives and how we might want to be remembered. It had a positive impact on me.

I, for one, am sick and tired of hearing about this girl who keeps getting further and further in trouble. Her family is no better then her because all they care about is fame and fortune. They have the money to help her but it doesn't look like they care. Unfortunately we'll be reading that obit soon.

Why are grown adults, with tons of make-up talking about this girl? and why do they act like they care? I doubt any of them where young enough to watch any of her movies? Leave the kid alone, who cares. Adults stop trying to act like your kids, and act grown up.I am tired of putting the news on and watching these middle age people nip pick these kids. why not tell us about something important, like the war, whats going on in the world, ways to improve out lives, our economy, etc

Hey- How about a contest? A contest for the best obit, with prizes like a blue ribbon heffer or a walrus and a date with Lindsay to the winner. The 30 bucks would pay for the date so it is a win win win situation.

The media does this sort of thing and not just to Lohan. They have done to other stars as well. But if she is going to die then she is going to die. Nothing any of us can do about it.

It's absolutely incredulous that so much attention and pity is afforded to a reckless, spoiled, drunken, drug addled individual such as Lohan. While the greater of us take measures to live a decent workaday life, these half wits run around without a care endangering not only themselves, but perhaps an innocent who may find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. My only hope is that she finally ODs in a hotel room or someplace where nobody else's lives are destroyed by another's careless, self centered behavior.
