Kate Gosselin Wanted Her 'DWTS' Partner Fired

Kate Gosselin on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Exclusive: Sources backstage at 'Dancing With the Stars' tell me the sparring between Kate Gosselin and partner Tony Dovolani that we saw last night is just the tip of the iceberg, and that things escalated so quickly that Kate insisted Tony get the boot from the show! However, from what I'm hearing, it's not Tony who's the problem. Inside 'DWTS' dish you won't get anywhere else, after the jump!

"Everyone involved in the show thinks Kate is impossible. We all feel very sorry that poor Tony got paired up with her. She talks to him as if he is her ninth child," sources tell me. "At one point things got so bad that Kate demanded that the shows producers fire Tony and get her a new partner. However, everyone would rather get rid of her than Tony, who is loved by all the staff."

During the March 29 broadcast, video showed Kate and Tony clashing during a rehearsal. Dovolani walked out on Gosselin after she questioned his technique, arguing that what he was teaching her was "wrong." Gosselin teared up on camera, and it looked as though she was going to quit. But they finally pulled through and danced the Jive for the show, despite Dovolani saying on camera that he should quit.

Tony has since apologized for his "quit" taunt, and now has decided he needs to keep on 'Dancing' no matter how "impossible" Kate may be. Unfortunately for the two, they scored just 15 out of 30 points, and may be eliminated this week.

I can't stand her...she thinks she is a celebrity...oh and the feel sorry for me I am a single mom...ah no your not...you have several nannies..give me a break...she needs to stay home with her kids and get over herself..she is not nor will she ever be a celebrity...and she can't dance either...wow..I feel a lil better...

I'm so sick of Kate! The problem is, she can't dance and she wants to teach the teacher, talk about stupid! She needs to quit, no great lose. Now we see what happened in her marriage, she talks to Tony like she talks to John. For a woman that has two left feet she sure has alot to say about nothing. She just needs to shut up or go home! I've seen people that can't dance, but she is terrible. She's young, you mean she hasn't picked up a few steps while growing up. I'm pretty sure she had girlfriends growing up and they played music and tried to dance a little. She can't even do that. I'm just so tired of her mouth! Send her home!

I was hoping Kate would go home this week. She makes me miserable just watching her. She never smiles. She glares at the camera as if it had insulted her. I watched a few episodes of Jon and Kate plus eight, and I am telling you, Jon should have left her a long time ago. I've seen her smack him across the face. She humiliated him, and tore his self-confidence down.

Kate, Tony is not Jon. He is a wonderful teacher and is doing his best to teach you so you won't look so much like a loser. Calm down woman. Give us all a break and take your tired butt home, along with your 15 minutes of fame.

I don't blame Tony. I would have left and just kept going. She just seems impossible to deal with. Last week Tony had to ask her if she really wanted to even be there. Obviously she doesn't. Tony, we love you, but Kate has got to go.

It was painful to watch Kate...period. Her dancing was awful, her effort was awful, but worst of all, she was so insufferably arrogant in dealing with her partner/teacher. She could never bring herself to admit that she was wrong. It was unreal.

I could almost sympathize with John, and see through the facade her publicist has been building for her since their split.

Poor Tony.
