Kate Gosselin Wanted Her 'DWTS' Partner Fired

Kate Gosselin on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Exclusive: Sources backstage at 'Dancing With the Stars' tell me the sparring between Kate Gosselin and partner Tony Dovolani that we saw last night is just the tip of the iceberg, and that things escalated so quickly that Kate insisted Tony get the boot from the show! However, from what I'm hearing, it's not Tony who's the problem. Inside 'DWTS' dish you won't get anywhere else, after the jump!

"Everyone involved in the show thinks Kate is impossible. We all feel very sorry that poor Tony got paired up with her. She talks to him as if he is her ninth child," sources tell me. "At one point things got so bad that Kate demanded that the shows producers fire Tony and get her a new partner. However, everyone would rather get rid of her than Tony, who is loved by all the staff."

During the March 29 broadcast, video showed Kate and Tony clashing during a rehearsal. Dovolani walked out on Gosselin after she questioned his technique, arguing that what he was teaching her was "wrong." Gosselin teared up on camera, and it looked as though she was going to quit. But they finally pulled through and danced the Jive for the show, despite Dovolani saying on camera that he should quit.

Tony has since apologized for his "quit" taunt, and now has decided he needs to keep on 'Dancing' no matter how "impossible" Kate may be. Unfortunately for the two, they scored just 15 out of 30 points, and may be eliminated this week.

Kate needs to get the boot, she is a miserable woman with an attitude - she is not the teacher, she is the student and apparently she is not learning much! Vote her off!!!

I agree Drangonfly, however, they won't vote her off, she is receiving sympathy votes, and now watch, she will drag the kids on the set for more votes, she is a miserable, conniving, media hound looking for a big movie role, I've written numerous e-maios to TLC and DWTS, they know most intelligent people know her game and they will continue putting her on air until we all tuen her off.

I died of laughter when I saw her dance, I know she's not a pro but????????? what was that??????? Could you only imagine what her kids are hearing in schoold, Oh poor them, Kate's always angry, however I'm sure she's going to be taking out the wrath on them even more!

if kate doesn't get voted off-- adios DWTS...1st of all she is not a star..so why is she on the show in the first place...She has a bad attitude problem..she is the one who cannot dance..and she has the the nerve to ask that Tony be replaces?? wth! no professional dance instructor of the show can do anything for her..just get rid of her NOW!!! and spare Tony of the agony of teaching a prima donna wannabe...she got more than 15 minutes of extra TV exposure already.

I don't believe any of this. It's all for ratings & votes. No one knows the true Kate because she is being portrayed the way the producers want her to be.I really don't like the way Tony is buying into it too but then again it is his job. He has to do what they tell him to do. It's all very annoying.
