Kate Gosselin Wanted Her 'DWTS' Partner Fired

Kate Gosselin on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Exclusive: Sources backstage at 'Dancing With the Stars' tell me the sparring between Kate Gosselin and partner Tony Dovolani that we saw last night is just the tip of the iceberg, and that things escalated so quickly that Kate insisted Tony get the boot from the show! However, from what I'm hearing, it's not Tony who's the problem. Inside 'DWTS' dish you won't get anywhere else, after the jump!

"Everyone involved in the show thinks Kate is impossible. We all feel very sorry that poor Tony got paired up with her. She talks to him as if he is her ninth child," sources tell me. "At one point things got so bad that Kate demanded that the shows producers fire Tony and get her a new partner. However, everyone would rather get rid of her than Tony, who is loved by all the staff."

During the March 29 broadcast, video showed Kate and Tony clashing during a rehearsal. Dovolani walked out on Gosselin after she questioned his technique, arguing that what he was teaching her was "wrong." Gosselin teared up on camera, and it looked as though she was going to quit. But they finally pulled through and danced the Jive for the show, despite Dovolani saying on camera that he should quit.

Tony has since apologized for his "quit" taunt, and now has decided he needs to keep on 'Dancing' no matter how "impossible" Kate may be. Unfortunately for the two, they scored just 15 out of 30 points, and may be eliminated this week.

I'm sure she's acting Better for the cameras. It's amazing that I've never heard anything good and she has always acted horribly even in front of her children. She sure can't dance or even try to. She needs to go back the clinic. If it wasn't for those eight kids she wouldn't had nothing to offer TV viewers in the first place, and hasn't since.

Sweet Kate needs to get a life and wake up that she is not the greatest. The best thing that can happen to her is that people just stop talking about her and just kick her back to PA and take care of her kids instead of trying to be a Hollywood nothing. Thanks.

Take a look at why this person and her husband were on tv in the first place, they have a bunch of young kids. Why is this pair flauntuing themselves around the world when they should be at home taking good care of their babies? Sad situation for those poor kids. Their parents are more interested in their own glory than the kids best interest.

But I must applaud the women who have been refreshingly objective on this.

I dont even like Kate Gosselin. What did DWTS expect....That is why she is not still married...She was mean and controlling. That should be apparent in the way Kate acted. She should have been asked to leave not the pro...He knows his job and does it well.

alyssa I'm suprised that dwts didn't call and clear it with you before they put Kate on the show.and since you know tony so well maybe he can get you on the show.I'm sure dwts is dying to get you on the show.

I know everybody is gonna think I'm crazy, but I miss Kate's "old" hair! I always thought it was very individual and cute and different. Now she just looks like every other bimbo in Hollywood. (which I guess is the point?). I think she should go back to her old style. Also, all this is just publicity. If they'd filmed all the others every minute, they have times like that as well. Even Brook said that her and Derrick had the same scene when they danced together.

I'm sorry, but she doesn't look like a Hollywood bimbo. She looks like a mean, conniving woman. Which she is. Her smiles are fake. I stopped watching her show after about two episodes of her belittling her husband and treating him like a child. Notice how she is usually the last act. She is there as a draw.

Tony and Maxim are the two best dancers on the show. It's too bad Tony had to be matched up with Kate. Kate is clearly in over her head. I honestly believe no one can teach her to dance. She has two left feet and a bad attitude.

The audacity of this woman to think she could get Tony fired just blows my mind. He is awesome! I don't know who she thinks died and made her queen bee but she makes me sick! I wish she would just go hide under a rock and never be heard from again. Those poor children!
