Katy Perry: Russell Brand Is 'Bridezilla' With Wedding

UPDATE: Russell Brand and Katy Perry wedding goes off without a hitch in India.

Quirky singer Katy Perry says that fiance Russell Brand is becoming a "bridezilla" planning their upcoming wedding.

Perry told InStyle that Brand "wants everything monogrammed," while the singer is taking a more laid-back approach to their wedding plans. "I'm preparing a little bit here and there," said Perry. "I have to stop eating McDonalds and start my dance classes."

The British comedian popped the question to Perry while the two were vacationing in India in December 2009, after dating for only four months.

Brand and Perry met at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009 and have made their affection for one another known with around-the-world PDA ever since.

Brand took to Britain's GMTV to profess his love for Perry, saying, "I'm ever so happy."

The couple has yet to announce a wedding date.
