Frightened Photographer Sues Sean Penn

Sean Penn's fierce temper has gotten him into trouble yet again. The Oscar winner, who has been arrested multiple times for assaulting paparazzi over his decade-spanning career, is being sued by photographer Jordan Dawes, who alleges that Penn threatened his life.
The incident was
captured by TMZ and shows the actor charging towards the photographer, taking a punch and kick while shouting "get out!" and continuing his pursuit as the man doggedly keeps filming. Nowhere in the footage does the camera leave the photog's hands.
In his suit, Dawes claims that he had to undergo knee surgery following Penn's assault and that the actor threatened him, saying, "The next time I see you, you will be in a box."
Dawes also claims he was filming a documentary
about paparazzi.
In February, Penn was slapped with battery and vandalism charges stemming from the October encounter. The case is pending, but if convicted, Penn could face up to 18 months in jail.
Twenty-five years ago, Penn received a suspended sentence after pleading guilty for attacking two British journalists trying to snap pics of his then-wife Madonna. He also got punchy in 1987 with a movie extra on the set of 'Colors.'
Lately, Penn has been spending time in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, attempting to highlight the need for more aid in the earthquake-leveled nation.

So if a tiger had a history of attacking people do you continue to get close and risk being injured (or killed)? You are an idiot if you do and I'll have no sympathy for you. This guy has a very questionable back ground concerning paparazzi and it isn't a secret. Leave the tiger & Sean Penn alone and you won't get hurt.

Thomas Jefferson was quoted as saying something like this: "Wealth does not seem to improve a man's intelligence." I will leave it at that.

If Sean Penn is so dangerous he should have stayed away instead of provoking a reaction.

His last name is so ironic.

Why do little people have bad tempers?

Penn looked kind of lame as he was walking away, he should have kept after him even when the guy got in the car. Maybe jump on the hood and cling to the windshield wipers as he tries to drive away. Now that would be something worth filming. Guess he's gettin old.

I thought Mr. Penn was going to move to Cuba to be with his big buddy Fidel. Too bad Sean, that little pimple of a man, continues to reside in America.

penn is a typical liberal loser. look who his friends are. somebody needs to punch his ugly face in the next time he attacks somebody. you ARE allowed to defend yourself.

but more important.. you ARE allowed privacy and anyone who won't leave you alone deserves what they get.
Spoiled little Hollywood progressive elitist. If you or I were as violent as Penn, we would be in jail. Lock the twit up. His act is growing very old.
