MSNBC's David Shuster in Hot Water Over CNN Pilot

MSNBC anchor David Shuster is no stranger to controversy, but sources say the host's latest stunt may earn him more than a slap on the wrist.

According to a report by The Huffington Post, Shuster recently filmed a pilot for MSNBC's competitor, CNN. Shuster did not appear on his home network this past Friday and will not appear on MSNBC today, leading some to believe that he may have been fired.

TV Newser's Gail Shister reports that MSNBC President Phil Griffin "ripped Shuster a new one over the phone," and that many expect Shuster to receive the same treatment upon his return to the MSNBC offices today. When asked for comment, Shuster told Shister, "I can't talk about it."

Shuster had previously been suspended from the network in 2008 after alleging that Hilary Clinton had "pimped out" daughter Chelsea in order to gain support for her campaign.

MSNBC spokesperson Jeremy Gaines said that if Shuster has, in fact, filmed a pilot for CNN, he will be "punished appropriately."

I did not vote for Mr. Obama. I listened carefully to his speeches and then made an intelligent decision. By the way Mr.Obama is as much white as he is black and furthermore raised and educated by his white grandparents, where were his African family when he really needed them?

It is funny, I do not know of any other bi racial person that white people claim is as much white as black. Black is a colour, Barack Obama is a black man,he is biracial of black and white parentage, but he is a black man.

Margaret, Mr. Obama's African dad has a doctorate degree. Mrs. Michelle Obama has a law degree from an ivy league school...her hard-working, educated black parents paved the way. Mr. Obama's grandparents didn't graduate, so check your facts.

Which congressional bill that he sponsored inspired your confidence in him? What part of his political record qualified him to lead a country?

It's interesting to note that all of the anti-Obama-ites use terrible grammar and spelling. This pretty much confirms Smitty's observations about lack of education, etc.

I think it's even more interesting that all these self-proclaimed "Progressive" intellectuals with their high-powered educations can spell words like 'government' and 'redistribution' and 'welfare' and 'abortion' and 'surrender' perfectly every time.

Was it the "education" that killed your souls or were you hollow to begin with?
