Not since Susan Boyle opened her mouth and surprised a global audience with her dulcet tones has there been such a talent as Lin Yu Chun, a contestant on a Taiwanese talent show called 'Super Star Avenue,' which is much like 'American Idol'. Chun destroys all preconceived notions with a powerhouse delivery of Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' that's sure to give you chills. I heard him sing on yesterday's CBS news. They said something to the effect: Don't worry about his voice changing in a year...he is 24 years old.
He certainly was remarkable - no matter how old he is.

The fact that this is a BOY that sings this awesome & probably doesn't speak any English but what he sings puts him head and shoulders above Whitney. I Lost all respect for her when she decided partying and drugs were more important than what God had blessed her with.

LOL he is great!! Dont know any other MAN that can do that. He hit his pitch perfect. Someone needs to sign him and make him famous like he deserves. We will be seeing more of him Im sure in the United States soon.
This young man is good but not better than Whitney. He seemed to sing falsetto and found vocal acrobatics easier than keeping his pitch. With a little more vocal training he should reach dizzy heights.

I agree with you. While this kids was absolutely amazing and hit the notes, etc., you could tell that Whitney's pipes are stronger. But when you go back and realize the kid is (a) young, and (b) a male -- he is phenominal, nonetheless.
Am I the only one that can hear the accents?!?! Sounds like Whitney? H-no. Maybe in an Asian-Karaoke kinda way.
