The Craziest Thing I Ever Did To Meet a Celebrity

Even though the Internet and apps like Twitter have made celebrities more accessible, there is nothing like meeting a Hollywood star in person. And while some of us continue to sit back and dream about meeting our favorite actors, musicians and athletes, others aren't afraid to step around security in order to meet a famous idol. We've called our PopEater Facebook fans to action to reveal the craziest thing they've ever done to meet a celebrity. These hilarious tales are ones we had to share. (*We do NOT advise taking these measures to meet celebrities.)

"I followed Jerry Springer for a half an hour while he was shopping just to get his autograph." -- Lari

"I spotted Sarah Jessica Parker eating at a resturant and decided to walk over and ask for a salt shaker. Then of course, I tried to act all surprised. 'Oh my gosh. I love your movies.' She was really sweet about the whole thing." -- Kayla

"I waited at the bar in the restaurant Steven Tyler was eating dinner at in Trump Plaza. Then I stood outside the men's room he went in to see him when he got out." -- Kimberly

"I bought Richard Simmons a piece of jewelry and gave it to him after lunch when he came to our town when he was first famous. I even got pictures, and he gave me a kiss!" -- Rita

"I put an ad in the paper when I was 15 to meet Rod Stewart. I put in my real phone number. This was 32 years ago when Rod was touring Chicago. Unfortunately... he never found out, but hundreds of people called, some claiming to be Rod's management. I still never met Rod." -- Mary

"I stood at the stage door after a concert and told them I won a radio contest to go back stage to meet the great BB King. They believed me and took me back to meet him. I spent two hours with him. It was fabulous... and so cool to meet such a magnificent man." -- Berta

was doing a little talent show and foxy brown was stayin in same hotel as us waited in lobby 45 minutes for her to arive it worked out she said i was cute and asked me to meet her later met about 230 am and u know the rest lol

Hmmm i stayed up all night and then fell asleep folling morning. So yeah i missed the my celebrity. i really want to meet Agelina Jolie.
