Jane Fonda 'Not Proud' of Plastic Surgery

Legendary actress Jane Fonda feels great about her appearance, but admits she's "not proud" that she gave in to pressure to have plastic surgery. Fonda swore she'd had enough work done in 2000 -- and according to the Huffington Post, Fonda told Larry King on Monday night, "If I was really brave, I would have not. I vowed I wouldn't -- I did, and I don't feel proud of it." WATCH:

Fonda has been upfront about her recent surgeries, posting on her own blog in February: "This year I got tired of not looking like how I feel and I wanted a more refined chin line like I used to have, so I changed my mind. I'm still a little swollen but not much and what pleases me is that I won't looked pulled or weird... or tired all the time ... I wish I'd been brave enough to not do anything but, instead, I chose to be a somewhat more glamorous grandma."

Fonda, 72, told King that she purposely left some of her wrinkles alone, for a more natural look. "I like my crow's feet and I like my little laugh lines. It was just the little jowls away, that's all.

"I didn't want to lie about it. I'm writing a book about getting older, so I had to admit it," she said. "I feel so good. I'm so happy."

I notice you got the negative vote. Doesn't matter, what you said is true. Why did all of those Americans die? What for? We had no business there, period... Southeast Asia isn't in our sphere of the world. They were in a Civil War. I don't agree with Fonda going there, however, nor do I agree with sending
Thousands of Americans there to die and kill. It wasn't our fight. How does history view this War? Can anybody explain, why we were there?

Of all the things she has done she is sorry about the plastic surgery? How very sad. That was the least offensive of all her "poor judgement" activities.

She's not proud of her surgery and we're not proud of her. That makes us even. After being a traitor she came back here and made tons of money selling an exercise video, never letting on she was thin from bulimia not exercise. If you look up traitor-skank-liar in the dictionary her picture is next to the definition.

When are "you people" going to get over the "Hanoi Jane" thing and move on. You are a sad bunch. So many people protested the war in the sixties. Were they all traitors? No, many were idealistic college students who are now older adults with good children and responsible jobs and lives. I think Jane looks great with her plastic surgery. She obviously has an excellent surgeon who does great work. Our entire generation, 50's through 60's does not want to look old, so why not take advantage of the cosmetic enhancements we have available to us. If you want to keep your wrinkles, saggy jowls, under-eye fat, and grey hair, then do what makes you happy and satisfied. Isn't life about personal choices and our right to make them?
