Jane Fonda 'Not Proud' of Plastic Surgery

Legendary actress Jane Fonda feels great about her appearance, but admits she's "not proud" that she gave in to pressure to have plastic surgery. Fonda swore she'd had enough work done in 2000 -- and according to the Huffington Post, Fonda told Larry King on Monday night, "If I was really brave, I would have not. I vowed I wouldn't -- I did, and I don't feel proud of it." WATCH:

Fonda has been upfront about her recent surgeries, posting on her own blog in February: "This year I got tired of not looking like how I feel and I wanted a more refined chin line like I used to have, so I changed my mind. I'm still a little swollen but not much and what pleases me is that I won't looked pulled or weird... or tired all the time ... I wish I'd been brave enough to not do anything but, instead, I chose to be a somewhat more glamorous grandma."

Fonda, 72, told King that she purposely left some of her wrinkles alone, for a more natural look. "I like my crow's feet and I like my little laugh lines. It was just the little jowls away, that's all.

"I didn't want to lie about it. I'm writing a book about getting older, so I had to admit it," she said. "I feel so good. I'm so happy."

It must be nice for these celebrities to have all this money to spend on cosmetic surgery. I have to worry about having enough money from my social security check to pay all sorts of bills. I have not and will not ever have cosmetic surgery, even if I had the money. My mother was the most beautiful person in the world and she was too poor for this kind of nonsense. She always taught us kids that it's what is inside a person that counts and not what's on the outside. Best advice I ever heard. Love you, Mom!!!!!

Hanoi Jane should have been executed as a traitor. she is soley responsible for the torture and death of prisnors of war in viet nam , when she sided with and abeded the enemy. wow what a country - we now honor traitors. Just because of her daddy Henry. I bet he was ashamed of her back then .

Your no patriot -- She got people killed and tortured that was only doing what their country asked of them. If she wanted to protest thats fine but what she did by going over there and getting these young men tortured and killed was an act of treason.

Jane looks greats. Natural. This evil talk about her is just that, evil. Get over the past. Hate is wrong...forgiveness is the way to peace of mind and world peace. Don't think I am some Military hater either my son is in the Air Force. I taught him to not hate or judge anyone. Love is always the answer and hate is the root of all the worlds problems. Educate yourself and learn tolerance.

The lady is a very good actress, and in her youth, she spoke her thoughts. That is one of our American rights. You didn't have to agree with them, but to take up space in your heart to hate, is so sad. You may not agree with her, but have you ever done anything in your life when you were young, that you wouldn't do today?
Let her be. Also, I believe she does a lot of charity work, so this woman is a fine person. How much do you do? Maybe there is a charity out there that would keep you busy enough to stop the hating. I sure hope so! If you hate, there is not room in
your heart to love. Such a waste of space.

When you're older and have great energy and zeal for life, yet your face and neck betray that zest, by all means lift that face and neck! Who likes feeling 25 or 30 and looking like they're 3 times that age -- no one. I really liked Jane Fonda's natural beauty, it was so unique, and now she looks rather like someone else, not herself. That I regret, not seeing the natural beauty of Jane Fonda anymore.
