Jennifer Love Hewitt Has Been Cheated on 'A Lot'
Jennifer Love Hewitt can sympathize with Sandra Bullock and Elin Nordegren -- though Hewitt, 31, has never been married, the actress says she has been cheated on "a lot" in her life.
"It's brutal," she said during Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show Tuesday. "Once I found out on television, and that was awesome. And then another time I found them together ... and that was, woooo!"
Hewitt was acquainted with the girl she caught in a compromising position with an unnamed ex,
US Weekly reports.
"That was not good," she said, adding that she learned of other infidelities because she "had a feeling" and then "found phone stuff."
Hewitt had only kind words for her 'Ghost Whisperer' co-star -- and recent ex -- Jamie Kennedy.
"We are sort of opposites -- I am sort of this gushy hopeless romantic, and he is sort of this realist," she said. "So, he really taught me how to look at the reality of things like love, whereas I had my head in the clouds before. He very much taught me some things and he taught me a lot about men and what they think."
Hewitt admitted that her dating pool of famous men might be part of the problem; the 'Day I Shot Cupid' author has been involved with Joey Lawrence, Carson Daly and John Mayer, among others.
"I don't seek them out," she said. "I am starting to think maybe that's not the way to go."

JLH is an extremely gorgeous woman. Having gotten that fact out of the way, she's no different than anyone else, male or female, that always seem to get involved with & be attracted to the same/similar type of person & end up with the same result, so it may not be entirely her fault as I'm sure some will certainly suggest. We all know people like this & we get that "here we go again" feeling when they start dating a carbon copy of their last relationship.

You are so right! Ever see the movie "Where the Heart Is?" The central character's friend gets involved time and time again with the same type. At the end of the movie she marries someone that is the exact opposite of what she has been involved with before. You just know it will be great! She didn't seek him out, either. It just came together.
HMM, she looks a little frigid. Beautifull but maybe a little frigid.

You're spot on Greg. When these famous people refuse to date anybody other than famous people, well then you end up with this behavior. I always wondered why famous people NEVER end up with average everyday people that MIGHT keep them a little more grounded. It's never worked and it never will.

There are reasons that the big, Hollywood types don't usually go for regular people like like us. For one, most of us couldn't handle a schedule like that. With shooting schedules, interviews in New York on Monday and L.A. on Tuesday, public appearences all the time, they don't always know where they'll be next week. On top of that, you get bent out of shape if somebody looks at your mate the wrong way. Can you handle seeing your mate mate doing a hot love scene with somebody who's WAY hotter than you without getting jealous and insecure? Unlikely. That's why they go for other people in the business. They have a much better understanding of the career and the time that it demands.

I agree with you to a certain extent sir, however even the stars get jealous and insecure when their mate is in movies with someone they deem hot. Another reason I think they don't usually date everyday people is they may think they are only after their money. One of the things I most liked about Michael Jackson is that he dated regular people. He actually had numerous relationships that he kept out of the public eye, just to protect them from the whole papparazzi/media circus. His situation was more excessive than the rest of the stars, but can you imagine being mobbed constantly?
Plus, I imagine the people they meet the most are 'in the business'. It's just unlikely, too, that Ms. Hewitt is going to take up with her bug man or that your leading man type is gonna go after the girl at the gro store cash-register. Not saying they shouldn't, just that it's unlikely.

You noticed that too? Trust me it's not just that pic. Even in the show her wrinkles are there and increasing. Either too much sun or not enough moisturizer or both. Jen, girl, moisturize, stay outta the sun/tanning booth and take care of your skin...YOU ARE ONLY 31...get back to looking like it!

Wow. Who is that dumb to cheat on Miss Hewitt? Not only is she one of the hottest ladies in Hollywood, but I do believe Ghost Whisperer is either the number one show or pretty close to it. These men she goes out with... do they think they can get better than her? Stupid boys. I would NEVER EVER cheat on a chick like her if I had the chance. I highly doubt this but Jennifer, if you're reading this, I'm 28, from Portland, OR and a construction worker. I'll treat you right. LOL!
