Elizabeth Taylor to Wed 49-Year-Old, Reports Claim

Elizabeth Taylor, 78, seems to have found love again, as new reports claim she's now engaged to Jason Winters, 49, of Sterling Winters Management, a source close to the actress tells Us Magazine. If the allegations are true, this would be the ninth marriage for the Dame. The couple have yet to confirm the news.

"It's no secret that they've been together forever and are in love, so it wouldn't be a surprise if they were engaged. Right now, they are keeping it between them," another insider said. The Oscar-winning actress has been married eight times, twice to Richard Burton. Her last union -- to construction worker Larry Fortensky -- ended in 1996 after five years.

Liz Smith, New York's most celebrated gossip columnist, said Taylor gushed about her new romance with Winters back in 2009. "Jason Winters is one of the most wonderful men I've ever known and that's why I love him," Taylor allegedly told her (via London's Evening Standard). "He bought us a beautiful house in Hawaii and we visit it as often as possible."

Other friends of the actress approved of Winters. "Liz is madly in love with Jason and he feels the same way. It's taken us all by surprise, but we're happy for her," the source said. "She didn't think she'd fall in love again, but since Jason came into her life that has all changed."

Taylor's previous husbands included Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Michael Wilding, Michael Todd, Eddie Fisher, Richard Burton, John Warner and Larry Fortensky.

I agree. When she was younger she was STUNNING. One of the prettiest. Will never be a Marilyn Monroe or James Dean iconic figure, but she will be remembered. Speaking of those two, at my college we had a poster fair and so many of them had Marilyn Monroe and James Dean on them. I guess they represent eternal youth and troubled lives.

I bet she knows she may die soon. Isn't she going in for another operation? And with her obsession with marriage she wants go knowing she was married. Only a close friend would do this and they are saying they are close. Since, he is gay there will be no scandal with him being with other women and he can have his guy on the side. And she won't be keeping him from getting married to someone else he cares about, because gays cannot marry right now anyway.

It is obvious it is not about sex. It is not her age, it is her heart problems. It is probably a request from a friend and a good friend might very well do something like this.

Of course I didn't read anything that said this was happening, it is purely speculation right now.

HAHAHAAH Marriage is no intitution. Its just a legal may to share a life together. Its so funny. On average gay and str8 UNIONS/ MARRIAGE and such have the same divorce/seperation rates. The first thing I thought of when I heard about this was Martha Raye and the loser she married just so he could get some publicity. For some reason Howard Stern took an interest in him and the guy actually rode poor Martha's coat tails until she died. He was very, very creepy, and a huge liar.

Liz, don't do it. You said you would never get married again after the last one. Keep your money and what's left of your dignity and enjoy the family you have left. He's only using you!!
