Jon Gosselin To Join Kate Gosselin's Reality Show?

New reports cite Jon Gosselin as "definitely open" to landing a co-starring role in his ex-wife's new TV shows 'Twist of Kate' and 'Kate Plus 8,' TMZ reports. Apparently, Jon would be game "under the right circumstances," his lawyer Anthony F. List said. In November, Jon filed a $5 million lawsuit against TLC, the network that produced 'Jon & Kate Plus 8,' because Gosselin believed TLC had damaged his reputation and is preventing him from finding work elsewhere. The standoff ended in February.

"TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation. All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC," the network said at the time.

Last week, Jon officially filed the legal papers in Pennsylvania to challenge Kate Gosselin for primary custody of their eight children. In the court papers, Jon alleges that Kate abuses the custody scheduling laid out through the arbitration process and claims she is not being completely honest about her income.

His attorney also hopes to reverse the child support payments that Jon has been making to Kate, which is currently $20,000 a month.

Why was it okay that Jon HAD an IT job, then they became a HUGE deal, now that Kate is actually out there WORKING for a living to provide for the kids, now Jon all of a "sudden" wants things to change. If he wants them to change, how about going out and getting your own job and provide for your kids, like your ex-wife is? Why would you want to "live" off your ex-wife for the rest of your life? Put your kids first and go out and provide for THEM. UGH, he just makes me sick.

Oh, so the money Jon is paying in support belongs to the children anyway? Then you are admitting the same is true of the money Kate made from exploiting her children. She is the worst mom in the world.

Kate is not a working mom. Exploiting your litter of kids and chasing fame for yourself is not work. Staying on a reality show and dancing until you get kicked off is not steady work either if that is your next line.

Money, Money, Money...it's all this Gosselin Family talks about. As if no other family has 8 mouths to feed!! There are many familes with 5 kids or more and they don't look for fast cash from Hollywood. This family is PATHETIC.

If Kate lets him on the show with her it will bring the show and her career down the tubes. No one wants to see him. She would not do her career any good to involve him. He is just running out of money and does not want to go out and get a 9-5. He is so jealous of Kate's career take off since she is rid of him. He wants a piece of her pie and I hope she eats it all herself. "Karma" hmmmm Jon......LOL

I suppose Jon has to make a living some way. I imagine he is 'needed' because during filming he's bound to be present (with the kids) at times.

He is a huge disappointment to me and to many viewers of the former show. He sure did a great acting job; it's so out of his personna on the show to see him smoking and looking so nasty with his entourage.

Kate is just earning a living; she needs a good one and she isn't likely to be able to easily find a nursing job which doesn't mean working long shifts. To raise a large family and provide opportunities for them she has to bring in the bucks.

She's giving it a good shot at least. I know she's not much of a dancer, but she hasn't quit on it. I remember when Kate said she really had '9' kids (Jon, of course) and his behavior since his philandering has shown him to be deserving ot the kid moniker.

I saw in the paper today that his b-day is April 1st; hers is March28. They are in the same sign. I guess that can contribute to problems. He's probably had more jokes pulled on him--he is an April fool!

Joh still has money. He sold the stories about kate and the interviews he's done. He has half the TLC money. (No, its not the kid's money-each person on the show had a salary. That's a seperate payment and all went into trust accounts.)

TLC reportedly settled the lawsuit, so Jon probably got nuisance money from them.

He has a lot of money to live on, he should be able to live and pay child support w/o working for several years. However, the way he blows money around, it probably won't last long. That's why he wants Kate's money. If he gets custody, she'll have to pay *him* child support. He wants to be a kept man.

If Kate didn't work in show business, she'd be away from the kids for much longer periods of time and will have to give up the house and lifestyle for the kids. She is a much better mom in show business than out of it.

Kate is a working mom, as am I. I never want to be away from my kids for work and neither does my husband, but the only way to provide shelter and put food on the table is to go out and work. Kate doesn't HAVE to work on tv or reality shows, but realistically it brings in more money and she's working the same amount that she would be as a nurse.
