Kate Gosselin and the Kids Hollywood-Bound?

Kate Gosselin is certainly famous, and now the mom of eight and current 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant wants to stay famous by making a move out west. Yep, the octomom is in the market for a house in Hollywood and a new agent, according to her pals. Details on Kate's Hollywood dreams, plus Conan scoop, after the jump!

Kate Plus Eight Heading to Hollywood

Sources tell me that in between dance practices, Kate Gosselin has been house hunting in the Hollywood Hills for a mansion big enough for her and her eight kids.

"Now that Kate has tasted the excitement of Hollywood, there is no way that she is going to return to Pennsylvania," a friend of Kate's tells me. "She is looking at homes in the Hollywood Hills in gated communities in the $2 million range. Kate is insisting the properties she sees have a pool, at least six bedrooms, an outdoor hot tub and, bizarrely, a recording studio!"

And it's not just a home that Kate has been looking for in Los Angeles. Sources tell me she has been meeting with agents, managers and publicists.

"Kate wants to be a movie star," one insider tells me. "Kate thinks that after Jennifer Aniston's last few films didn't do so well, America needs a new girl next door. And who better to fill Jen's shoes than Kate!"

That's right. Because when I think girl next door, the first thing that jumps to mind is a single mother of eight with more public baggage than Grand Central Station. Keep dreaming, Kate, and please don't tell us you are planning to record an album, too.

Why Fox Would Rather Run Old 'Seinfeld' Than New Conan

After lengthy discussions with Conan O'Brien, Fox ultimately decided it would be better to continue showing re-runs of 'Seinfeld' than give Conan another chance at a network late night talk show.

"Conan wanted too much money," a TV insider tells me.

"He refuses to admit that he was a ratings failure at NBC and overestimated his worth in the negotiations. It is much cheaper for Fox to re-run episodes of 'Seinfeld' opposite 'Letterman' and 'Leno' rather than try and develop its own late night show to compete against them," the insider said.

Now Fox's loss is TBS' gain, where Conan will be returning to TV in November.

"Conan was willing to take a huge pay cut to appear on cable, something that he had been unwilling to do for network Fox," a source tells me. "Plus, being on cable, everyone has a much lower expectation on ratings. Conan is being careful not to put himself in a position to fail again."

Brad Pitt Calls In Grandma

Even the biggest male movie star in the world needs a little help from his mom when he is left alone to take care of six kids.

Sources tell me that Brad Pitt begged his mother to fly to Europe last week and help him baby sit the kids while Angelina Jolie was at work on her new movie.

"Brad gave the nannies the week off, as he was determined to show Angie that he could look after the children all by himself.

However, after only four days he called in reinforcements," a friend of the couples tells me.

Bless him. It's far harder being a father than a movie star.

Why can't this ugly skank of a mom just grow up, figure out she's not something people want to see on in movies, let alone on their TV, and raise her kids like a real parent. What a stupid skank.

I think the BODYGUARD should write a TELL+ALL book about this Mommie-Dearest. He'll make millions.

Well I don't have a problem with Kate. She made a good point by saying if she went back to being a nurse, she would have to pull 12 hour shifts and still be away from her kids a long time. Let's face it, it is too late for her to rurn back now. Everyone already knows her and the chilren and unfortunately running and hiding isn't going to change that.

Nurses work 12 hr shifts usually only 3 days a week. That's 36 hrs a week. Kate is full of CRAP. She's wining and dining her night's away with the Bodyguard and has no desire to be around her children (UNLESS>>>the camera is rolling!!)

This woman needs to go, I can't stand her... She uses the excuse that she can't dance that all the publicity from the custody thing with Jon, boo hoo, Erin Andrews was stalked and now threats of murder, and you never hear her use that as a sympathy card... Kate no ones cares and you can have all the money in the world and a huge mansion, and still be a unhappy bitter b****....

Oh, spot on. I saw Kate one time on DWTS and she looked like something out of a horror movie, no flow, just stiff clomping around. She needs to fade out of the picture, and actually go home and take care of her kids. She's not a prime example of a good mom and as far as going Hollywood.......oh no dearie, do us all a favor and let that one go on by.

Kate Gosselin should not be considered Famous should is defined by the adjective in the Webster's dictionary, INFAMOUS- having a very bad reputation; deserving of low regard.
Hopefully she will soon go down in INFAMY- a noun meaning Disgrace.
This reality show monster is an example of what mothers and women should never want to be; a full blown narcissist and a money hungry low-life. Kate, get thyself some serious psychiatric help with all of your children's millions, I'm sure they would approve of you spending their money on this one thing. Can this selfish woman just leave the state without her husbands permission? This is just to get back at Jon (who is also useless) and take the kids away. Shes crying about not being able to feed her kids and shes buying another home? this time two million? Boy, her kids are going to be so happy! I have to admit, for the first time ever I have watched DWTS. I get such a good laugh on how bad Kate dances!! All those beautiful, shapely women on there and then there's "KATE"!! LOL! My husband said last night her ONLY talent is the ability to make people hate her. Yes, she is the woman America loves to Hate! No talent, not really even pretty. Attractive? For some reason, I don't believe this and I am far from team kate or jon! Sometimes the media loves to make stuff up and I think this was a huge stretch! When a magazine or any site for that matter says, "a source" "insider" etc...I'm leary!
