Pamela Anderson Owes $493K in Taxes

While former 'Baywatch' star Pamela Anderson tangos on 'Dancing With The Stars,' California officials say she has failed to pay $493,000 in personal income tax. Anderson is on the annual list of delinquent taxpayers released Monday by the California Franchise Tax Board.

This isn't the first time Anderson has been wanted for debt. In 2007, she owed $252,360.39 in back state taxes and penalties, AP reports.

Currently, Anderson is among 250 individual and business taxpayers that owe more than $100,000 in back taxes. State records show a tax lien for $493,144 was filed against Anderson in April 2009.

Her attorney, Robert T. Leonard of Woodland Hills, says he is representing Anderson in the matter but declined to comment further.

Back in 2009, Anderson allegedly owed $1.1 million to various construction companies for remodeling work on her Malibu home as well as back state taxes.

According to the documents, five different construction companies have filed liens against her home, the largest being $674,043 for "labor and materials ... to remodel main house, construct swimming pool, construct foundations for guest house."

I refuse to watch Dancing with the Stars this time around. Pamela Anderson is disgusting. She is old and wrinkled. I bet her boobs fall to her knees when she takes it all off. A pig if there ever was one. Send her to jail for non-payment of taxes. Others have gone for less. What's wrong with the IRS?? They should be taking everything away from her and let her live on the streets. She may enjoy that and then may find some work. She looks worse than some street walkers I have seen.

Try to think of it this way.The'average'family of four pays almost no taxes(in Ca),but uses millions in services.Pamela must pay 1/2mil,but uses 0 services.How is that fair??And why do contractors always charge the state,or a star,1mil for a patio or a pool that I can build myself for 1 thousand??Please think about who are the real rip-off artists before you over-react,and stop the'welfare-cheats'instead.

Shawn: Who said she uses no services? She has kids in school right? She drives on the roads,uses the utilities, etc. I don't
have children in school in my state, but I still pay school tax.
Its the way it is. She lives there, she should pay taxes like everyone else. As far as the contractors, she had to sign a
contract no matter how much it was. She owes them, she needs
to pay them.

Why do I find myself not surprised? These so called "Hollywood celebrities" think that they are above the laws. They are great at saying that all of us "little folks" (the great unwashed!) should pay our "fair share" while they go about their lives not paying their "fair share." These people have always been GREAT at wanting to give away the average tax payers money when they cannot even make the effort to pay what they owe.

Why the hell should I care about Pamela Anderson. Its none of my business if she pays her taxes or not. Thats between her and the Government. You want to keep money in the States the first thing you should do is put a cap on Government saleries and then have them pay into social security as well. There isn't a Government employee that should make as much as the President. The President should have the highest Salary. The rest shouldn't be making over 75 thousand. That should be there cap. That would lower every thing else out here. Now that would be news.
