Britney Spears Okays Release of Untouched Photos

Following a popular trend in media for au naturale photography, UK's Daily Mail reports that Britney Spears has allowed her recent photo shoot for Candie's to be released -- untouched! Spears' appearance in real, everyday non-studio-lit life is hardly a secret as the star is photographed by paparazzi at virtually every waking moment, but the girl deserves some credit for allowing us to assess the before and after shots. Compare for yourself and let us know what you think.

In one photo, Spears is seen in the un-airbrushed shot with blemishes on her calf and larger thighs. The airbrushed pictures show her slimmed-down waist and skinny legs.

Meanwhile, in another Candies' picture, Spears' cellulite and a tattoo on her lower back are airbrushed and removed.

I like the fact that stars are letting their natural selves seen. It makes them more human rather than superhuman. I like to see them in their true selves, and it makes them more relateable.

This is a wonderful 'trend' that celebs are starting. It will allow our girls to see what REAL bodies look like, not the airbrushed stuff in magazines. Maybe this will allow our girls to feel good about themselves just as they are and not kill themselves trying to achieve something that cannot be achieved...perfection.

Re: Idol Poll...Hey PopEater Didn't Kris Allen appear earlier in this season on Idol doing song with the piano? Check the footage from this season and I think you may find he DID appear. BTW Adam Lambert is very dynamic and controversial right now for his live performences, two thing Hollywood loves so Im not surprised he was brought on for a key mentoring appearance.
