Report: Elin Nordegren Meets With Divorce Attorney for 'Several Hours'

The will-she-or-won't-she divorce speculation for Tiger Woods' wife has reportedly taken a turn toward the divorce side as Elin Nordegren met extensively with a divorce attorney, according to RadarOnline.com.

The Web site claims that shortly before leaving for a Scottsdale, Ariz., trip without her husband, Elin visited with a divorce lawyer in the home she is renting in Orlando, Fla. The meeting lasted for "several hours" according to Radar, which described her trip as a solo vacation.

While the couple has made some progress since Tiger's bombshell revelations of serial infidelity, the Web site maintains that this has ceased since Tiger announced his return to golf -- that Elin has grown cold and became convinced that Tiger is not serious about making up for his serial cheating.

She has exerted much more independence, taking several trips without him, and she has even refused to put her wedding ring back on. She was also a very noticeable no-show at Tiger's return to golf at the Masters.

Of course it's about money. Elin was nothing more than a "C+" rated model who latched onto and married Tiger's money. I hope Tiger will just get her out of his life, go back to his old ways and back to dominating the world of pro golf. Forget the therapy crap, forget trying to play nice to the media and the fans. What you had been doing prior to November 2009 worked to perfection. Go back to it and dominate the world of golf once again.

I think that, contrary to what many people believed and the reports from the media, Elin Nordegren never intended to stay with Tiger Woods after his savage betrayal. Elin is a woman with moral principles, dignity and self respect and she would never stay with a man she does not respect and trust, anymore. Tiger knew this, but he had hoped Elin would change her mind. Elin only agreed to put the divorce on hold for six months, so Tiger could get rehab and return to his career. The six months are almost up and Elin will be getting the divorce soon. I wish Elin and her precious children the best.
