Crystal is the best singer. She sings with conviction and is probably the best singer Idol has ever had. Even over Kelly Clarkson who is great. You probably dont like her because she sings more rythym & blues white soul style . Shes great and will win. She reminds me of a clean healthy Janis Joplin.

Well, I'm glad to see that some others feel the same as I do. As far as not watching AI again if Crystal doesn't win, I feel just the opposite. I don't like anything about her - her voice, her song choices, her looks - nothing at all. In fact, I especially dislike her attitude, and I think Simon hit the nail on the head when he told her she acted like she had it in the bag (or words to that effect). That's exactly the impression she gives me. I love Lee and Siobhan. And, I'm 63! This is the first season I've really watched.

I think she is really the stand out but I agree ...I am not sure she is cut out for fame ...I don't think she will like being told by the contractor what to do and what to sing ..She is really independent...It's going to be hard....I love casey,too i hope he loosens up more in the next week.....

I have to agree with Elizabeth in that every song does sound the same. I really like Cyrstal as a person, and I do think she's very talented. However, I know I'd never by a CD of any performer where all the songs sound the same, as hers have on AI. I'm not sure if the judges critiques are to blame for that, or if that's all she can do or wants to do. I hope she succeeds in the business if she wants that, but I, too, am leaning towards someone else.

That said, if Siobhan won I'd also be feeling the same way, because that screaming is just that....screaming, not singing. She has such a beautiful voice, but I could never listen to that scream for the majority of her songs if she made a CD.

don't forget that Sobhan (or how ever her name is spelled, who cares) her nose is pierced. She sucks big time, with her screaming at the end of every song. Get over it Sobby!!

siobahn is a nasal singer. I was behind her in the beginning, lately tho.....she is blowing it somewaht. Crystal and michael lynch will be the top 2.

Man I agree with you. I think the "judges", I guess that is what they are suppose to be, let all the good ones go when choosing the "top 24". I think they chose the "bottom 24". Especially the girl who can no longer try out because of her 'age'. And that phoney Kara telling her just how 'wonderful' her voice is and then tells her she didn't make it; also the guy they didn't choose over Andrew, I am so glad he is gone, he should never have been selected in the first place. As for Casey, I cannot see what is so special about him. And what is it about Kara and these stories she always gives about the singers. If you judges don't like the songs that they pick--then let the judges pick the songs. Boy, I better stop because I can go on and on about the show this year. I can surely understand why their ratings are down.
