Kim Kardashian Confused By Her Bum's Magnetism

Kim Kardashian poses nude and un-retouched in a new Harper's Bazaar feature on celebs and body image. The outstretched reality star is comfortable with her whole body, even if all anybody seems to notice is her derriere, which she chalks up to her heritage.

"I don't get why everyone is always going on about my butt. I'm Armenian. It's normal," she explains. "My butt is probably not as big as you might think, because I have small legs and a small waist, which makes it appear bigger."

Kardashian said she grew up among blondes in Los Angeles, but idolized brunettes with "healthy bodies" like Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch and recent beauties like Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez. "I related to them," she said.

Posing nude is nothing new for Kardashian, but she now thinks her 2007 Playboy magazine spread was a bad idea. "I'm sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable," she admitted.

But taking it off for Harper's was "very liberating," she says, adding that she hopes to be a role model for "curvy" girls. "I think the message is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, 'I'm curvy, and I'm proud of it now.'"

Couldn't you do something else to help girls with curves other than posing nude? I think so and I think you know that. I think you did this for yourself. Besides, I see no curves here. This is somewhat photo shopped or nobody would want to look at it. This is going to make curvy girls feel worse about themselves not better!

She needs to stop already. Geeze, every magazine I pick up she has herself 1/2 nude on the beach with her foot long butt crack hanging out.

She claims she has not had but implants, boob implants,etc. That is pure BS.

As many of you have said, this is just more ways for her to get back at Reggie. Why would anyone take a woman who is supposedly sz 2 as the spokesman for "curvy women"? Whatever!

I find that insulting that she keeps using that as her excuse for posing nude. Show me a woman that is a sz 14 + and then we can talk about looking at them as a spokes person for "curvy girls".

So Kim wants to be a role model?? If you want to be a role model, do something with your brain instead of your body. Doesn't take a lot of smarts to strip off and pose for photos. Help out a charity or volunteer somewhere. That's what would impress me.

Kim is a beautiful woman. If she wants to be a positive role model, she should keep her clothes on, and get involved in a good cause. The world doesn't evolve around naked women. It attracts all of the wrong attention to young women who follow this type of behavior. Kim is beautiful, she would be even MORE attractive if she conducted herself like a lady who keeps her clothes on. What's her point, for her nudity? Does she need attention?
