Kim Kardashian Confused By Her Bum's Magnetism

Kim Kardashian poses nude and un-retouched in a new Harper's Bazaar feature on celebs and body image. The outstretched reality star is comfortable with her whole body, even if all anybody seems to notice is her derriere, which she chalks up to her heritage.

"I don't get why everyone is always going on about my butt. I'm Armenian. It's normal," she explains. "My butt is probably not as big as you might think, because I have small legs and a small waist, which makes it appear bigger."

Kardashian said she grew up among blondes in Los Angeles, but idolized brunettes with "healthy bodies" like Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch and recent beauties like Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez. "I related to them," she said.

Posing nude is nothing new for Kardashian, but she now thinks her 2007 Playboy magazine spread was a bad idea. "I'm sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable," she admitted.

But taking it off for Harper's was "very liberating," she says, adding that she hopes to be a role model for "curvy" girls. "I think the message is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, 'I'm curvy, and I'm proud of it now.'"

The thing I've noticed lately is that people seem to confuse the difference between NICE and BIG. A butt doesn't need to be big to be nice. We've all seen alot of BIG ugly butts out there. A butt CAN be small ( or medium) and still look really nice if it's nicely shaped and toned. I wouldn't trade my toned tush for anything larger. Big buts fall and look awful as they age. It's hard work to keep them looking good. I've seen it happen to the women in my Dad's side of the family. It seems in later years that everything they eat goes to the butt. I love to work out and keep everything in it's place so II'm all for a nice cute butt. Too big borders on gross! I do think she is pretty though.
She's lost some weight, so her butt looks a little more in sinc with the rest of her now. She still needs to be REAL careful. I've seen it happen more often that not.

Sorry, but flat and big butts sag alike. I live in CA and see far too many middle-aged white women in bikinis with this affliction to agree with your statement. To me, that's gross and unattractive, more than a bigger butt could ever be. I hate to break it to you, you little narcissist, but you have a big butt and a big nose. The nose and ears continue to grow all your life. If your butt had brains, and perhaps it does, you would be a genius. However, nothing I have seen or heard makes me believe you are a genius, except for having the ability to put yourself on the cover beyond your natural beauty. Enjoy your youth. Yawn!

I asked the same question of friends, "Who is she?" Apparently she is some Armenian chick who has a dad with plenty of money. He put his money up so she gets her picture taken a lot. Go figure!
