There are allot of claims, with strong accusations about how this country is run, instead of voicing such strong views, maybe people need to add where they got there information, where is the full truth in what Voight has to say. Why does he say that the American people are witnessing, and nost just say, what I am witnessing. Not all of us are quite so luck as to have it all. And as far as I am concerned there were more American's who voted for this presient, is Voight just a poor looser. Or is he just trying to make people think that he is standing up for what is true. If so, what information does he have and I would like to see it first. Just because you are rich dosen't make it so....Maybe you should post the true opinions of he American people istead of just Hollywood's opinion, as far as I know they are just acting a part. I wish people would just lighten up, and let the man do his job. Or maybe they should run for electon, let's see if they can do a better job.

John Voight isn't anyone to believe, he's very bias, runs with the conservative voice. He's really nobody.

I never thought of Jon Voigt as a great actor. But now the immoral tenor of his recent statement about Obama and the warped view of the world it betrays should mark him as a national disgrace. The man simply lacks intellect.

If you believe you can steer the ship better, Jon, run for office.

I agree with all of you. Capitalisim is great, for the rich.
If they can't handle paying their share, we'll take it.
It sickening to watch so few with so much and see what they get away with.

Only in America do people express such hatred and misinformation about their legally elected president who's doing exactly what he promised to do during the elections. With the degree of hate being spewed by "the party of NO" I truly feel nervous about the mans actual survival.

It's easy to place blame on Obama when you don't consider the shambles that Bush left the country in. All those capitalist jerks that are crying because Obama is trying to share the wealth need a quick dose of Karma. If something shoulf happen where they are in a bind for money I would love to see how many would still go on about the "truth" of capitalism. Furthermore, ignorance is bliss and those that are blissful will continue to be Voight.

Well said Ross. Republican's, in general, have an entitlement attitude and seem to lack understanding of the concept of love thy neighbour. From what I see of some Americans (from a Canadian liberal point of view) in the South-East, they certainly know how to love thy cousin.
I suppose that, being a Republican, Jon Voigt is an expert at spotting national lies ... methinks thou dost protest too much. PS: the word socialism is not a curse word. it's a legitimate political economic philosophy, born in DEMOCRACIES, not totalitarian states. Try thinking as opposed to reacting, Jon. Also, see if you can find that long missing "H". Bye for now.

Who the hell is Jon Voight? And, perhaps more importantly; why does anybody care what he thinks?

And who is the world is this Jon Voight to judge the president of the United States, I wonder...hum...and who is JV representing? I wonder if he is one of those actors whose main interest is the big corporations and does not care about the American people, like most of Republicans.......

rrs0426, you are right on the money, dude....I congratulate you, what a nice way of putting what's wrong with America.

How wonderful that Jon Voight has reached the point in life where he is both dumb enough and senile enough to qualify as Charlton Heston's replacement as spokesperson for the NRA.

President Obama did what many have tried to do before him. I congratulate the American people on the Healthcare Bill. You will one day be grateful for it. One way or another, you will be glad of it. I'm very happy for you!

As a Canadian I find it quite disquietning viewing the acrimonious invective aimed at your president.
For years around the world there has been an Anti American feeling among many people and countries. Suddently you have a president who is changing all that, who unfortunately for himself inherited an awful financial and security siuation which the Lunatic Fringe from the right are loading on to his shoulders.
Give the man a break, from the worlds perspective he is a breath of fresh air.
