Atlanta 'Housewives' The Diva Extras on 'The Joneses' Movie Set

Hitting theaters last weekend, 'The Joneses' features some massive Hollywood names, including Demi Moore and David Duchovny.
But director Derrick Borte tells PopEater the biggest entourage he saw during the Atlanta filming was when Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield of the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' hit the set. Their big moment? Non-speaking extras for a brief party scene.
"They brought their publicist, their hair people and their own make-up people," Borte tells PopEater. "Each of them had their own people."
"They were the only extras that had an entourage -- I can tell you that."
Borte says he allowed the 'Housewives' to attend the Atlanta-based party scene with Duchovny and Moore because "we needed a lot of extras that night."
"And someone came to me and said the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' really want to be extras in this scene," Borte recalls. "I said sure bring them in, but I'm not going to give them any lines."
Zolciak and Whitfield might have missed their chance to appeal to the director for a bigger part. "I spoke to them, but they had no idea who I was," says Borte.
The budding actresses treated the party scene like it could lead to something more. "I think they took it very seriously. I really do," says Borte. "I think they saw this as their acting debut."
The 'Housewives' got their extra moment (don't blink or you'll miss it) and nothing was wrecked on the set. "They totally behaved," says Borte. "There were no catfights."
