Jay Leno: Conan O'Brien Will Be 'Great' on TBS

Jay Leno has finally commented on Conan O'Brien's move to TBS.

"I knew he'd land on his feet," the host of 'The Tonight Show,' told Access Hollywood.

"It'll be fun. Everybody will compete," he added, since Conan and Jon Stewart air at 11 and he and David Letterman go on at 11:35.

"I think he'll be great. He's a very funny guy," Jay said of his former NBC colleague.

But the comedian minced words a bit when asked what he thought about Conan moving from network to cable television. "I didn't know what to think. I mean, well, FOX is network but they have cable too, so, you know, it's all sort of the same now. Everybody sort of reaches the same thing, but I think it's exciting. I think he'll do well."

Leno and O'Brien were caught in the middle of a late-night war. NBC's failed experiment that brought Jay to primetime and put Conan on 'The Tonight Show' ultimately lead to O'Brien leaving the peacock network when they gave Leno his old job back.

The network liked Jay more as his ratings were bigger.

And that is the basis of the decision to pull Conan.

Jay won and lets all get over it.

Leno is a back-stabbing weasel. And, he's not in the least bit funny.

There aren't any great night time shows anymore. Leno is the least offensive host, not always funny but certainly more entertaining than Conan and/or Dave.

I care what Leno thinks, and what Leno does.

He is in Show Business...., S-H-O-W B-U-S-I-N-E-S-S. THAT'S WHAT IT IS. YOU MAKE GOOD OF THE BREAKS, AND GET UP WHEN YOU'RE KNOCKED DOWN, AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN.

Evidently, the only one's that understand that, are Jay Leno and Conan O'brien. LENO had nothing to do with what happened to O'BRIEN.

I am counting the days until Conan surfaces . . . then the lights go out for Leno. Conan has never been better than he is in his travel show . . . I wish him the best and I hope Leno finally realizes what loyalty is all about.

I really didn't like what happened to Conan. I don't understand why Leno came back. Or left in the first place. He should just have a car show on spike or something.

Conan is so goofy. He is not funny at all. Jay is a pro and his ratings proved it. Letterman and Conan are so jealous of his talent. Besides Conan is doing the same thing to George Lopez who has a better show. Conan whined and walked away with a boatful of money. I dont get Conan's humor. He reminds me of Pee Wee Herman. He is just so goofy. Jay Leno all the way. Love u Jay.
