There was smeared mascara on the dance floor last night as Kate Gosselin's run on 'Dancing With the Stars' came to an abrupt and tearful end.

Gosselin did not look surprised when it was announced that she had been voted off the show. She simply hugged her dance partner, who patted her on the back. But the waterworks began as she addressed the studio and the national television audience -- an audience that had voted her back onto the dance show week after week despite ridiculously low scores from the judges.

"Thank you for believing in me probably more than I believed in myself," she told the audience as she choked up and clutched a tissue in her hand.
