Why does Terri have to be from the South?! I'm so tired of the steriotype!! The South had a bad rap during the 60's and 70's sure, BUT, we have worked very hard to change that around. I see more interracial couples here in the South (Alabama) than any other place I have been to/lived in. I have friends who used to live in a Northern state who told me they would walk across the street if a black person was on the same side. She also said she didn't go to school with a black person until she moved here. So, PLEASE stop saying its ONLY in the South because it's bull!!

I never understand why she became famous. I know she has more talent than myself but I don't think she is as talented as many others in the business. She does not sing good live and many times just lip syncs. I guess these days maybe talent is not that important to people?
