Naomi Campbell Blows Up Interview Over 'Blood Diamond' Question

Naomi Campbell has a well-documented history of anger issues, but her most recent rage, over allegations that she was the recipient of a blood diamond, has been captured on film by ABC. The supermodel, who was reportedly given a large, uncut diamond by former African despot Charles Taylor, lashed out at a cameraman when her interviewer began a line of questioning regarding the gift.

Campbell, who initially told the reporter, "I didn't receive a diamond and I'm not going to speak about that," became enraged when she was further questioned on the subject. She proceeded to get out of her chair and exit the interview, knocking the camera out of a producer's hand on her way.

Campbell, who allegedly has crucial information linking the former Liberian president to war crimes committed in Sierra Leone, has refused interview requests from the UN's Special Court regarding the matter.

The supermodel's short fuse has landed her in hot water in the past. Both a former assistant and housekeeper alleged that Campbell physically attacked them, and she was involved in a 2008 scuffle with police at London's Heathrow Airport.

Naomi Campbell is on the right this time around. She politely asked the interviewer to stop that line of questioning. The interviwer should have apologized and moved on to another topic. Way to go Naomi!

A simple "I asked you not to question me regarding that subject" would have been the right move. But ms. how "celebrity" is targeted and how far someone will go to stretch the truth. Makes you wonder how many other stories were fabricated. I saw no anger or rage, she replied in a polite firm way that she was not going to address the question, but never in anger. If they wanted to make this story believable they would have left out the video - how dumb do you think we are? The headlines on this one are "liable" and would love to see a lawsuit for defamtion of character follow. Must be a slow news day

Snaps...? Snaps??? If ABC News thinks that this is 'snapping' then what do they think of all the other behavioral 'snaps' that Naomi is guilty of? I mean, it's not like she went ballistic. Knowing her past anger issues, she was probably trying very hard NOT to b!tchsl@p the interviewer! Please, there's no drama here, she refused to answer the questions, refused to continue the interview, and frankly I didn't see her knock into the cameraman, either. Oh, believe me when I say I'm NO FAN of Naomi's, but this is just sensationalism. Get over it, people!

Although I have a problem with the words "Super Model" because if they were so super they wouldn't have to hid their beauty behind all that war paint but getting to the point I love how Naomi handles people. She's not a house nigga like most famous Black people.

Nicely done Naomi, who does these media folks think they are? don't they know no boundaries, she was asked on the show for a different reason! she politely declined to respond, why goad her??? I bet it was staged to provoke her so she displays her famous temper and the unknown interviewer ( I refuse to know her name) can get some publicity. sickening!!
