Tiger Woods Divorce is '100 Percent Happening'

Though Tiger Woods was reportedly hoping to mend fences with his wife Elin after his sex scandal fractured their marriage, it looks like divorce is par for this course.

A source close to the family tells Us Weekly, "It's 100 percent happening ... It's going to take a long time to go through. [But] she will go through with it. She is all about being a mom. She will do it slowly and carefully."

While Tiger parties in the U.S. -- TMZ found the golfer hanging out backstage during a Nickelback concert in Florida earlier this week -- "Elin and the kids are out there visiting with [Elin's] family in Stockholm," the source says.

The friend adds that Elin has ordered "nonstop construction" on her new $3 million home on Sweden's west coast. "She is definitely planning on spending a lot of time there -- they are gutting it ... She and the kids are going to be spending most of the summer there. Without Tiger."

Reportedly, Elin has also looked at properties in Florida -- sources tell PopEater's Naughty But Nice columnist Rob Shuter that a full-time move to Sweden is out of the question. "No way would Tiger let Elin leave the USA with his children. You can say whatever you want about Tiger as a husband, but he has always been a great father," an insider told Rob. "He knows his marriage is probably over, but he will never give up on those kids. They mean the world to him."

I always felt that, Elin Nordegren was going to divorce Tiger Woods after his savage betrayal and world-wide humiliation and that Tiger has known this from the beginning. Elin is a woman with moral principles, dignity and self respect and she would never stay with a pervert man like Tiger, whom she does not respect and trust anymore. Elin agreed to put the divorce on hold for six months, so Tiger could get rehab and return to his career. Tiger had hoped Elin would change her mind but she did not. The six months are almost up and Elin will divorce Tiger soon and who can blame her? Elin is young and beautiful and I hope she can find happiness with a good, decent man with moral values, that will love, honor and respect her as she deserves.

Most of this blog consist of "white" people. Let's be real, Elin was only interested in Tiger because of his MONEY. If Tiger had no money, Elin would have never, ever looked his way, or would have ever thought about marrying a poor black man, and that's a fact. She wanted to married into the fame and fortune. You guys should call it what it is.....GREED. Stop looking for black men with money. So stop being so judgmental of Tigers behavior. Sure he was STUPID to ever think he could find true love with Elin. Sure, it was wrong, but i'm sure she isn't as perfect as she appears to be behind closed doors. I think in time he'll find true love.

Yes he loved his kids so much that he risked bringing home aids, and all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases. There are some besides aids that can be caught without having sex that he could give to his wife and kids. Now that's love!!!!!!!! If he loved his kids so much, why didn't he spend the time he spent with the prostitutes with them. Before you tell me they were not prostitutes, look in the dictionary and see if it doesn't say one who takes payment for sex. I think he was trying to spread lots of little tigers around the white race.

I think anyone would get a divorce because of the all the media attention given them. I wonder how everyone telling them to get a divorce would like it if they were hounded to get a divorce from their spouses if either of them had an affair. If the media would have left them alone maybe they would have had a chance. Yes he was wrong and had more affairs then most...but an affair one time is no matter how you cut the must is betrayal and the person being betrayed grieves but sometimes can work things out. Forgiveness is the key to all of this. If the person pursues affairs than of course leave the person. If feel sorry for both Tiger and his wife. I pray for them!

A "good father" doesn't cheat on his wife. Sorry. If he wanted to screw around (clearly), he should have divorced her. Now his kids are going to grow up and read all about their dad's affairs. Yeah, father of the year, right there!

Tiger is the result of a father who was as promiscious as Tiger. The apple didn't fall far from the tree. Men like Tiger who promise that they will be faithful are liars just like Tiger. Elin came from a good family in Sweden why are people maligning her. This was not her fault. Tiger is the one with problems inherited from his father. Men never face the reality that they are the one with the problems. This is not a black issue, white men have been promiscious since day one. Little boys who never grow up never make good husbands!

If the "kids mean the world to him" why was he cheating, placing his marriage and their well-being at risk? If he's a poor husband, he's a poor father. Divorce is a MAJOR disruption in the life of kids. IF parents cared, they would know the stability of the family unit is Paramount. The kids are in second place to golf and Elin is in third place. So sad for everyone because of Tiger's destructive habits.
