Tiger Woods Divorce is '100 Percent Happening'

Though Tiger Woods was reportedly hoping to mend fences with his wife Elin after his sex scandal fractured their marriage, it looks like divorce is par for this course.

A source close to the family tells Us Weekly, "It's 100 percent happening ... It's going to take a long time to go through. [But] she will go through with it. She is all about being a mom. She will do it slowly and carefully."

While Tiger parties in the U.S. -- TMZ found the golfer hanging out backstage during a Nickelback concert in Florida earlier this week -- "Elin and the kids are out there visiting with [Elin's] family in Stockholm," the source says.

The friend adds that Elin has ordered "nonstop construction" on her new $3 million home on Sweden's west coast. "She is definitely planning on spending a lot of time there -- they are gutting it ... She and the kids are going to be spending most of the summer there. Without Tiger."

Reportedly, Elin has also looked at properties in Florida -- sources tell PopEater's Naughty But Nice columnist Rob Shuter that a full-time move to Sweden is out of the question. "No way would Tiger let Elin leave the USA with his children. You can say whatever you want about Tiger as a husband, but he has always been a great father," an insider told Rob. "He knows his marriage is probably over, but he will never give up on those kids. They mean the world to him."

Player on the golf course he is, player off the golf course he is not. His actions was the most amateur thing I have ever seen and I believe he wanted to get caught so he could get the help he needed. If I where Tiger I would get out of my marriage NOW! Elin will never trust and love him like before because of his actions so why would one want to stay in a marriage like that. Pay her now Tiger and give her what's she deserves. You will make it back in the future. Hit em straight!

I'm sick of all this Speculation from sources, "the divorce is definitely on" etc. I won't believe Elin is leaving this creep until she SIGNS the damn divorce papers. What the hell is she waiting for? How many more women does he have to screw for her to know he's not worth it? Why would a woman who stands to get millions settle for such treatment? Most women stay in bad marriages cause they don't have any options (job,resources). There is no reason for Elin to stay. She can go and do what wants with all the money she'll get.

I do not condone what has happened here, but I do have the capacity to believe that he deserves forgiveness. Some will say that he is only sorry because he was caught. I say so be it, as long as it doesn't happen again we will know he was sorry. A lot of you have been going on about how horrible this is for her. What of their children? They deserve him in their life. I'm not saying that they "need to stay together for the kids" but their feelings need to be regarded deeply through all of this.

Wow. Alot of judgement going on here. It is possible (very possible) to go through a divorce and still love your kids, and be a good father/mother. Yes, he made mistakes, big mistakes, but the children still deserve to have a loving father and mother in their lives, even if they aren't perfect. (see - adultery (Tiger), see - attacking your spouse with a golf club (Elin)).

I think the worst thing you can do for your kids is pretend to stay in a marriage or pretend to mend fences "for the sake of the kids", kids see through that, and grow up. Divorce is a perfectly reasonable option for these two, as long as they put the needs of the children first in the divorce. The needs of the children probably don't involve moving to Sweden, but who knows.

Breaks my heart! I just went through the same thing , but with out the publicity! I was 8 months pregnant, and now with son 5 months old, His father accuses me for HIS addiction! We had an extremely healthy sex life, I am beautiful inside and out ! Quite a catch actually! Now ( Heart Broken) I have no desires for reconciliation....Nor to pursue any further future relationships! I know this happens too men aswell, but why must ppl cheat, Its so HURTFUL! Everytime i read this blog, people who accuse tiger get the highest rank and people who support him get the lowest rank. Now everyone should know this, if you were tiger woods and the whole world turned on you, you would not have fun right now. People let us stop wasting our time and wish tiger and elin the best of luck and happiness in their lives. They both deserve to be happy. I don't care if you are the moral police or the relationship expert, please shut up and say something positive and make our world a better place and stop throwing stones because any of us could have been tiger woods and would have made the same mistakes he did.
