Fergie Dishes on Royal Romance, Oprah Aspirations

This week, I attended Target's DVD release party of the brilliant film 'The Young Victoria,' where Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, refused to give me any hint as to when Prince William would be getting married. However, she did have great advice to all brides, including Kate Middleton, and also told me how she would love to be the next Oprah!

Sarah tells me that it's important for Kate to "remember that you're marrying a beautiful man you are in love with and remember to make time for him. Because I didn't." She goes on to discuss her own marriage from 1986-1996, saying, "Andrew and I spent 40 days together for the first five years of our marriage. I didn't know that would be the case, but figured it out two weeks after I was married," Fergie told me.

And what about those rumors that she's got her eyes set on becoming the next big television star, a la Oprah? "I would love to have my own show on American TV. I love America. Me on the streets meeting real people," Sarah told me while promoting
'Victoria.'

I even caught her asking TV honcho Amy Rosenblum -- who's produced everything from 'Today' to 'Maury Povich' -- that pivotal Hollywood question: "When are we doing a show together?"

Amy, who is now turning LXTV into a huge hit (where I deliver all the celebrity news once a week), tells me, "Sarah has been a friend of mine for a long time, and I can tell you she has a connection with people not unlike Oprah. She's intoxicating and makes everyone around her feel special."

Before you think she's too good for the "real people" because she's royalty, Fergie tells me she particularly loves "middle America," and that she "was in Target just recently in Minneapolis buying DVDs and clothing. I loved it. Isaac Mizrahi clothing at Target -- I love!"

There are a lot in High Society WHO SHOULD NOT BE GETTING MARRIED, as I remember the last guy I dated mentioning: Anyone can get married and have a family...this is true, but the ones who can afford to have a family and be married, are usually the ones who should not be getting married due to their highly arrogant and "It's all about me" attitude in real truth (to a conscienc and Psychology which is always in DENIAL about how it is in true Light).

Carneyva, that's not necessarily so. I never married until I was almost forty years of age, and been with my husband ever since then, for fifteen years now. Relationships are the most difficult lesson/challenge we all have to learn. I had many marriage proposal's prior to then, but that didn't mean I had to marry them. I was a career and independent woman. I didn't take the easy road, but the more difficult road. I made sure I found the right man for me, and wouldn't settle for less.

It's not just the weathly that have marital problems!! It started about a year ago with me..My husband and I decided to stop going out to eat during the week. We found it helped us cut the calories.. the problem was that I was doing all the cooking, while he sat on his butt!! It drove me crazy. then i found this beginner's cookbook for him.. it was perfect.. hilarious, and very politically incorrect. I can't tell you the name of the book on here.. cause some of the more conservative readers will jump down my throat, but if you have a good sense of humor and are not easily offended.. google "Whipped & Be aten Culinary Works".. but seriously. .don't go if you can't take a good joke!

Not just beauty--at a certain age (50+)there are fewer men than women--if men that age deign to marry a woman the same age as they are, they want the woman to have money. Widows particularly tend to a little something in the bank. And they tend to be very lonely.

Women say this all the time, but even when men "play around" when they're not married, women get upset because they're not the only one he with. Women just need to stop trying to find all of their happiness in a man and realize that the potential is always their to be sexually attracted to someone other than your significant other...for men and for women. But, it has very little, if at all, to do with love.

So sorry to hear about the divorce , I really think the tiger has learned his lesson , and it's so SAD for the kids involved , that's something they never forget, at least give him one last chance, I am sure he loves you very much, there is a difference between love and sex, and that fling was just sex,know it hurts, but two wrongs don't make it right, if He messes up again then that's a different story, it's rough to be in the spot light, for the both of you, just follow your heart, and you won't go wrong, at least you can say you tried ,just for the kids sake, and love him with all you heart and he will feel very guilty for what he has done,and you will be a better Women for and and a better mom too,
