Michael C. Hall 'Fully Recovered' From Cancer, Says Wife

'Dexter' star
Michael C. Hall has "fully recovered" from cancer, his wife, Jennifer Carpenter, confirmed to the
AP.
Carpenter, who referred to Hall as "incredibly brave," added that her Golden Globe-winning husband has since returned to work on the film 'East Fifth Bliss,' opposite Lucy Liu.
The news marks a speedy recovery for the 38-year-old actor, who in January announced that he was in remission after being diagnosed with a treatable form of Hodgkin's lymphoma.
"I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care," he said at the time.
Throughout his treatment, Hall remained in the spotlight thanks to a busy awards season, during which he received a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award for his performance on the critically acclaimed Showtime drama.
Production on 'Dexter' is slated to begin this summer.

Octoman, who are you talking about?

He is referring to Michael C Hall, the main character of the Showtime drama Dexter, and his wife/co-star, Jennifer Carpenter, which plays his sister. However, he must be quite shallow if all he has to post is something negative about a man who has just beaten a deadly cancer in 3 months.

Hi Stacey...my daughter's son was just diagnosed with the same disease...do you know how I might reach Michael C. Hall...thanks.
I can't tell you how happy I am to hear Micael C. Hall is doing
so well. He is a really great actor and what makes him even more
appealing is that he doesn't seem like one of those actors who needs to be in the spotlight and the center of attention to keep doing what he does. He seems very humble. I am a true "Dexter" fan and can't wait for the new season late this year. God Bless you Michael for continued healing, health, and happiness!

Congrats M.C. HALL....YES, Hodgkins Lymphoma is treatable, but still kicks a guys butt! Chemo and Radiation, that zaps the body, energy and spirit. Brave man, and we are lucky to have you back! Looking forward to Dexter's return.
Signed- a Hodgkin's Survivor 2

You bet, I was treated two years ago right now for Stage 2A Hodgkins and went through the same standard protocol chemo and radiation as you and Hall did. The fatigue is so profound that you crawl to the couch or bed on your hands and knees! treatment for me went from April 1 to October 1. Fatigue lasted another full year plus.I worked every day, even infusion days, so unless he had a bad reaction to ABVD, he worked too.
Good luck to you Bigmo!!
Glad to hear of those who survived Hodgkins. My son, Christopher, died at age 22 after suffering through the ritual of chemo and radiation. I've always felt guilty for not realizing he was ill but the symptom was only fatigue. I thought he was naturally slowing down from his normally busy days.
Great news! All the best Michael, stay healthy. (You too, Bigmo.) Looking forward to the new season of Dexter.

Michael C Hall is an outstanding actor, but more than that he seems to be intelligent, funny, and very grounded. Live long and prosper MC & J.

He was also great as the Master of Ceremonies in the Broadway production of Cabaret.

His wife is normally cute, but she looks slightly insane in that picture.
But I'm glad he's doing better...I really love his work, and he seems like a good, decent man.
Plus he's hot.

LOL she looks bizarre in that pic!
Sorry but no one gets fully cured from cancer. Remission maybe but there is no cure.

Yes.......I am a survivor....24 years of Hodgkin's stage 2B.
Life does go on and on and on after Chemo and Radiation!
Good luck my brother, may you live a long and healthy life!

I had no idea he was ill. Thank all the gods that he is in remission. He's delighted me in everything I've seen him in (he was fantastic in 6 ft Under), and yes, he does seem to be an all around good guy. I sincerely hope he lives a long and happy life. (BTW.. Dexter ROCKS!)
Curious that another key actor in a series just was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Andy Whitfield of Starz' Spartacus. Lymphoma and brain hemorrhages seem to be the news these days.
You go Michael!

That's really a pathetic thing to say! The man has been recovering from cancer, he's entitled to look a little rough considering what he's been going through! What the hell does "looks" have to do with loving a person? And wondering if he's "well endowed'? Geez buddy, get some help!

Is Octoman referring to the poll on Sandra Bullock below the story on Hall? Maybe he is referring to Bullocks dog husband as ugly, not Hall
