Jesse James Mistress Number Two Writes Letter to Sandra Bullock

Melissa Smith, the second woman to come forward as one of Jesse James' mistresses, has apologized to Sandra Bullock.

Smith faxed a letter to the Oscar-winning actress, taking responsibility for the affair, TMZ reports.

In the letter, Smith wrote: "I felt I needed to reach out to you and tell you how deeply sorry I am for everything that you've been through."

"And I know nothing I can say in this letter is going to make the pain of my actions go away," she continued.

"I am sorry for any hurt or pain that I have caused you. My actions of engaging with a married man are unforgivable. I never meant you any harm," she added.

Smith said she will "never forgive" herself and implored Sandra to contact her. "Please contact me if you wish to discuss on the phone or in person."

According to a report in Star magazine, Melissa, a stripper, claims she and Jesse met through MySpace in 2006, after James contacted her.

It was during their first meeting that they engaged in sexual relations, Melissa said. "We ended up having sex on his couch, and he didn't use a condom."

Their affair continued for two years, and Smith added that he never wore his wedding ring or spoke of his wife.

This letter comes on the heels of an interview with mistress number one, Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, who offered to sit down and talk with Bullock about her relationship with James.

"I'm not begging for anyone's forgiveness, but if Sandra would like to have a woman-to-woman talk, I would be open to it," McGee told Life & Style.

"I would like to sit down with Sandra and speak one-on-one," she said. "I'd let her ask me questions, and I would be honest and open with her about the affair. If that would help her heal, I would do it."

Remember no one can fix stupid and God doesn't like evil, now I believe this issue is filled with much of both. Sandra needs to be left alone and let her make her own decisions, it's her life, therefore it's her decison.

I totally agree with you, she wants 15 minutes of fame. They're all trying to get rich off of Sandra! What low lifes. Sandra is so pretty and a great actress, she deserves a better man than that dog she married. My heart goes out to her.

hmmm...the letter is admission of guilt...and admissible in court..I say use it as evidence and sue her and her Jesse for adultery...and all other skanks that pop up on film or written form admitting to a relationship with her husband should individually be sued. The last women to do this made a boat load of money and shut the both of them up pretty well. It is hard to prove adultery in court, but these women are making it really easy with voluntarily being video taped and putting all the details in writing. I say go for it Sandy and shut them up for good. It would be a big boost for all the cheated on men and women in the world

There is no such thing as an "alienation of affection" statute in California. Sandra could allege that Skank #2 deliberately intended to inflict emotional harm, but that would require a certain quality of intent and the Skank can say that she didn't know that Jesse's marriage was conventional and monogamous. In fact, Jesse's b.s. story to all the girls was that he marriage to Sandra was a sham, so intent isn't there. Next, even if you sued all the Skanks, none of them have two dollars, so any judgment would be uncollectible. In the meantime, Sandra's legal action and appearances in court would be intensely scrutinized and she's not happy about publicity right now. Sandra's not going to sue anyone other than filing an action for divorce. By the way, what is Sandra waiting for? Does she thing that Jesse is going to "change"? Well, she might take him back but the American public isn't going to accept him.

Grow UP! The courts do NOT care a thing about morals. It is the law that matters. No court cares who slept with whom. It is a business deal, marriage.

Adultry isn't illegal anyway. In the USA anyone over 18 can do what they want sexually with any other consenting adult.

The single women that were involved in an affair with Jesse, cannot be sued for adultry..They are not the married one.Only the married ones fall under that catagory...However if there is still a law on thr records for alienation of affection, well maybe that route would work better. But i would not hold my breath..

I second that idea-maybe they'd think twice before hooking up with a married man-and can't claim innocence if you claim responsibility. How far away is NC? There's a lady to teach Sandra a thing or two about cheaters.

Neither one of these women hurt Sandra, it was Jesse that hurt her. These women just need to fall off the face of the earth. Leave her alone, nobody wants an apology from people like you two women who have no concern for anyone but yourselves. Why would you even think she would want to talk to you. Go away....
