Lohan's Dad Fears She Will End Up as 'Another Hollywood Statistic'

After staging a failed intervention for his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, Michael Lohan is not giving up on getting treatment for the actress.

His lawyer tells Usmagazine.com that Lohan is worried for his daughter's life. "Michael has a problem millions of Americans have: What can a parent do when an adult child appears to have a serious alcohol or drug problem?" attorney Lisa Bloom said.

"Michael is not going to stand idly by and watch his daughter become another Hollywood statistic," Bloom added.

He hopes to "prevent Lindsay from becoming another Marilyn Monroe, Anna Nicole Smith, Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger or Corey Haim," his lawyer continued.

"Michael loves his daughter with all his heart. He has watched along with the rest of us over the past few months as Lindsay has been photographed partying and clubbing night after night, appearing as though she is under the influence of alcohol or substances... With his own two eyes, just last week, he has seen her looking worse than ever," Bloom explained.

Meanwhile, according to Us, Michael's ex-wife Dina Lohan claims that Lindsay and their younger daughter Ali Lohan are "petrified of him" and are trying to get a restraining order against their father.

Last week, Michael brought cops to Lindsay's home, fearing that the 16-year-old Ali was in danger. The 'Mean Girls' star tweeted about the incident.

"My BUILDING didn't STOP him, isn't it supposed to be safe? THAT'S WHY I MOVED HERE! It coulda been FAKE cops! Dressed up!" Lindsay wrote. "My lawyer isn't answering. I NEED A RESTRAINING ORDER! MY SISTER AND FRIEND TOO!!!!! HE'S NUTS!!!"

The entire Lohan family needs counseling, but Dina may actually be the worst. It's clear to the whole country that Lindsey is in trouble, yet she continues to deny any problems, and sends her minor daughter (who already looks 10 yrs. older than her actual age) to stay with Lindsey. Why isn't Child Protective Services involved with regard to Ali? This is a tragedy in the making.

AGREED! Dina is a horrible, money, fame hungry, drug abuser. Lindsay and Ali (who isn't as cute BTW) don't stand a chance!!
She will be a statistic. Maybe Robert Downey Jr could talk to her. He changed his life.

I would say that the media has to take a lot of the blame. Here's Lindsay taking a step, here's Lindsay taking another step, here's Lindsay chewing gum. Is this really a story other than here's Lindsay high again.

Yes, it is just a matter of time for this poor girl. No one wants to hire her to make movies because that can't or won't insure her. She is a train wreck waiting to happen. She really should get out of LA and find a place to hibernate for a couple of years and get herself together. Otherwise, we will soon be reading about another drug overdose.

I think Michael Lohan is just being a skitsofraniac
about Lindsay, and he's just worrying all for nothing.
I believe Dina Lohan should call a private meeting
of the entire family for a reunion, a forgive and
forget picnic, whatever it's going to take for Lindsay
life to change for the better, and for her to erase
that horrible memory from when she was 4 years old,
which I really don't believe happened, anyway, but
be that as it may, all of them need to chill out
and reunite. This whole thing is just rediculous.

Michael just needs to let her go because people sometimes want to learn the hard way and that is hitting rock bottom. When someone shoves his/her agenda down his/her throat, it only makes the situation more worse.
