Song Premiere: Shakira 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)'

Exclusive: PopEater is excited to bring you 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)' by Shakira, which will be featured as the FIFA World Cup 2010 official song. The song launched on April 28, 2010 and is available for download through digital retail outlets like iTunes.

"The FIFA World Cup is a miracle of global excitement, connecting every country, race, religion and condition around a single passion. It represents an event that has the power to unite and integrate, and that's what this song is about," Shakira said in a statement.

All proceeds from the song will benefit FIFA's Official Campaign of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ '20 Centers for 2010,' whose aim is to achieve positive social change through soccer by building twenty Football for Hope centers for public health, education and football across Africa.

It's funny how Shakira tries so hard to pretend she's white. Typical colombian. Google her and you'll find pictures of her when she was natural. Total chola samba, that means, typical colombian.

By the way...the word "chola" is not an idiomatic expression for chick or girl etc...in Colombia. Infact, Colombians don't even use that word.
Modern usage of the term "cholo" is referred to Mexican or Mexican-american descent.--And last, in urban usage..it is referred to as a gang member or members.
So...there you go.

soccer?why are they talking about that in the USA?I mean nobody cares for it here,Id say 99% of people cant name a pro soccer team or a single player.

I am American and I love soccer..aka footie. I cannot stand American football with all the sissy padding and stopping every two seconds. Give me a good soccer game anyday, where the players run the pitch for 45 miutes at a time only stopping for fouls and the like and that time is tacked on at the end of the half that is being played.
