Jake Pavelka Voted Off 'Dancing With the Stars'

'Bachelor' Jake Pavelka has been reminded what it's like not to have a rose at the end of the night.

The reality show star was voted off 'Dancing With the Stars' Tuesday night after stumbling in his salsa dance during Monday's competition. The viewers failed to pick up the Texas native and vote him back onto the show.

Pavelka, who dropped his pants the week before in a bid to rally votes, was the second celebrity in a row to memorably shed tears after being voted off. Kate Gosselin's tearful parting was last week.

This week, Jake appeared to make a sound that resembled crying as he thanked his partner, Chelsie Hightower, and his fans, while fiance Vienna Girardi looked on from the audience.

"You're one of my best friends, I have loved every second of this," he said to Chelsie. "I love you. Thank you for being so great to my beautiful fiance, Vienna."

"Thank you everyone for watching and keeping me in."

Jake's salsa stumble was viewed as a major misstep, and it was played over and over again in slow motion on television. The judges noticed, even though Jake's seemingly button-free shirt was distracting -- even 'DWTS' standards.

When the manly-bachelor's tears stopped on Tuesday night and the light from the disco ball faded, only six dancers remained on the program. Jake Pavelka -- went straight to 'DWTS' from 'The Bachelor' -- was suddenly a man without a reality show.

I don't understand why Jake was thanking the people of Canada for keeping him there that long. Does anyone know why that was?

DWTS got it right, in my opinion! And what's up with him thanking certain ppl, Cananda & Texas...He didn't need to thank Florida (where I'm from) because I never voted for him and wanted him gone! I got sick of looking at his short stubby legs. Now I want him & Vienna to go away. Your 15 minutes are up, so get gone! Go back to being a pilot and don't have your marriage on tv - don't wanna see it...didn't watch Jason & Molly, so could careless about your marriage. Hit it!

Thank You - I hope to NEVER see this self-cetered guy on television again. He sure can't dance and I seriously doubt he will marry the gal he prposed to on The Bachelor. He's just wanting fame.

Jake is such a DORK! Was that an acceptance speech he was giving for being booted off? Did he win something that I missed? I think he should have gone earlier. The guy constantly trips over his own feet! He is annoying just to look at....enough already with that smile!!!!! Please get in your plane and fly far away. Don't forget to take your "beautiful fiance" with you. Your 15 minutes is finally over.

GAWD, Ashlee, Tamra and lin!! Such negativity over one person whom you've never met and has done nothing to affect your life in any way whatsoever. So what if the guy is trying to promote himself and get somwhere in life. Is that so wrong? At least it's not to the extent that Gosselin woman has gone. He's not using anybody like she's used her kids. Give the guy a break. Seems like he may not be macho enough for you or have that bad boy image that women fall over, but the only thing I've seen him do wrong is choose that Vienna person as his fiance'. And on a show like DWTS, not everyone can be THE BEST, so don't knock him because he wasn't the perfect dancer. He did a decent job and improved week after week. Looks like a few others did a lot worse. Let's see you get up there!!

I love Jake, he is my boy, he is everyones sweetheart young and old. And believe me I am old enough to be his mother, but I am not. I loved him when he first appeared on the Bachelorette, and was glad he was chosen for the Bachelor. I cheered him on when he was on DWTS. He made a few mistakes, but then Jake is a perfectionist and he was nervous. I am hoping to see him go further in the spot light, maybe even into primetime tv. You keep climbing that ladder, Jake.

jake is a very very good friend of mine. he is a great person, with a huge heart, and he loves life and people. i have never seen him angry or upset . he is an all around true human being. sometimes we see a certain part of a show and draw a conclusion that a person is not worthy. some of the bad things you have said about jake is your perception of something you saw on the bachelor. just remember, its edited to only show the stuff that will make people tune back in. jake, you were great on dwts, and i cant waite to see your next part of your journey !!!!!! johnathan

I disagree. Jake is as fake as can be. He is trying to be a celebrity. He is basically the male version of Kate Gosselin. His sickening sweet personality is too much! Tell me...what is Jakes's talent so that we can all be clear on this once and for all.

I'm sorry but I think the male version of Kate Gosselin would be... I don't know... maybe Jon Gosselin. You guys are ripping Jake apart and honestly I thought he dealt with all this a lot better than say that moron who proposed to Melissa Rycroft and then dumped her on television. I am SO glad Jake is gone!!! His cheesy smile, conceded attitude and mouth gestures while dancing made me want to gag!!! He is only there for the fame and even though I don't like Vienna, I almost feel sorry for her. It is only a matter of time before Jake dumps her. I heard he never stays with a girl more than a year and then gets tired of them. Bye bye Jake...for good I hope!

So very glad this fake is gone. He is so good at the fake tears. Really don't care for him and wondered why he was not booted off at the first elimination. God, what will he try and do next. I think it will be hard to get rid of him, as he will find any way he can to stay in the spotlight. Vienna should walk, no run away now.

I don't know what it is about Jake that makes me think "CREEP" but I for one find him disturbing. I cannot give a conclusive answer. The crying and the big goodbye were sickening. He acted like he was a big star. I wonder if Jonathan is his boyfriend?
