Jesse James Reacts to Divorce, Bullock's Adoption

Sandra Bullock dropped a bombshell when she revealed to PEOPLE that in January she adopted a boy from New Orleans and is divorcing husband Jesse James. Now, Jesse James is finally opening up about the news, telling PEOPLE he has a "huge hole" in his heart.

"My whole life has been full of hard decisions. The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart," James said.

She and James began the adoption process four years ago, before becoming parents earlier this year. The couple decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars.

Bullock was on top of the world when she won her first Oscar for her role in 'The Blind Side.' But just eight days after her victory, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee revealed she had been having an affair with James. Eventually, several more women stepped forward. Rumors suggested that at least seven women were involved with Jesse during his marriage

"I ask that you please do not judge Sandy for the things I have done. She has done no wrong. She played no part in any of this. She has been an amazing wife, mother and best friend for the over 6 years we have been together," he said.

According to HollywoodLife.com, James relinquished his rights as a parent to Louis in the divorce papers, allowing Sandra full custody in what experts call an unusual move.

Bullock says she is now adopting as a single parent and is divorcing her husband. "Yes, I have filed for divorce," she told the magazine, adding that she is "sad and scared" about it. This is only the second time Bullock has spoken out in the aftermath of her husband's sex scandal, which broke in mid-March.

The West Coast Choppers mogul publicly apologized to Bullock and his three kids and recently returned home after a 30-day stay in a treatment facility, where he sought help for "personal issues."

"I know in my heart that I can be the best father possible to my four children, and the mate Sandy deserves, and realize that this is an incredible mountain to climb. But I believe that the steps I have taken in the last 30 days are the foundation for making this happen. The lifelong commitment I am making is what being a real husband and father is all about," James added.

I strongly believe that, at least in this particular case, a man is only as faithful as his options. Jesse is famous, successful, some women find him attractive(I don't get it though). Men are testosterone driven beings and Jesse had/has a lot of women making themselves available to him on a regular basis. I'm not condoning what he's done in any way because he shouldn't have let himself give in to the temptations but it's obvious that the 'little head' was in charge when he did what he did. The same goes for Tiger Woods. They were horny, they saw the opportunity to get some tail on the side and they let their libido's dictate their behavior without regard to the possible consequences. The idea that either of them are 'sex addicts' though is a bunch of crap.

Most people do not cheat for sex, they cheat for the rush of being wanted and doing something dangerous. Once a cheat always a cheat. And 'sexual addiction' is b.s. in a case like this. Just a pig. This girl married trash. She knew he was married to a porn star before her. She knew his children's mom was whackjob. She knew he isn't the smartest. Ya get what ya settle for.

mark, if you will remember correctly, the first one to respond was Jesse, with an apology. As for Sandra barking, as you so inaccurately put it, she probably got tired of being hounded. She managed to keep an adoption a secret since January and stayed out of the public eye, stating nothing for over a month. I would say she isn't much of a "barker" J.A. The only barker in this situation is that Bombshell character. Neither Sandra or Jesse has bad mouthed each other at all, which is rare and refreshing.

You had your chance(s). Obviously seven of them(or more). Too bad; so sad. Now you can go back to "nothing". Maybe one of the tramps you slept with can pick you up for awhile. It's a shame that Sandra, her child and your children have to face the consequences. You're no better than Tiger; and no where near as smart.

A sex addiction is as strong and controling as any gambling or substance. Nothing matters; it isn't about being selfish, it's a "fix". My husband has struggled with this issue. It's a chemical imbalance and takes constant on going counseling. And yes; it's hard to understand.

I do not know the real answer...but I believe it is the risky move or living on edge or feeling getting away with cheating. the high of it all as in shoplifting, so the fantasy that he is invincible...that it is worth doing it...selfishness after all...probably still immature as he is still seeking his ego approval..yea I am the greatest....It was pleasure...
