Jim Carrey's Antics Keep Us Guessing

If you've been wondering what's been on
Jim Carrey's mind since his recent split with
Jenny McCarthy, the answer to that is "Boing."
Since April 24, Carrey has been
tweeting the word up to 40 times day, using it to mean, well, just about anything. "I RRRefuse 2 define BOING!," he wrote on Tuesday. "1 day when you've given up your need 2 explain it and file it neatly away, 'BOING'... you will understand! }=^P"
The erratic tweets are a red flag for some fans of the actor, who is said to have battled depression and was the subject of a highly unflattering 2007
Radar magazine cover story about his behavior on the set of 'Number 23.' (Although as a hatchet job, the article falls short: Most of Carrey's co-workers who are quoted seem to have a great deal of respect for him.)
All in all, it's been a bumpy month for the comic genius, who famously took to Twitter on April 6 to
announce his break-up with longtime partner McCarthy. Adding to the confusion is the fate of his next feature film, '
I Love You Phillip Morris,' which was supposed to have been released this Friday.
Earlier this month, it was shelved, seemingly permanently, only to be put back on the slate for July 30. The film, based on the true story of a con-man who turns away from his wife and Christianity to become a gay man with a partner (played by Ewan McGregor), whom he meets in prison, apparently spooked the studio with its controversial subject matter.
Carrey has also stepped out in public recently with cameos on '
American Idol Gives Back' and Conan O'Brien's Los Angeles
live comedy show -- where he sang a duet of Five For Fighting's 'Superman (It's Not Easy)' dressed as the caped Kryptonian.
So what is the current mental state of the Canadian-born comic, and do we need to be worried? As Carrey himself would say: "Boing!"

He needs someone to talk about him. Even bad publicity beats no publicity. He is off of the PR radar and needs some attention. This gets him some.

Jim Carrey is an idiot. Just another one of the actors who proves how far you can get in Hollywood without talent.

everyone is an idiot .....even you...omg.....leave him alone
Well, Tiggers bounce, I guess Jim Careys boing.

Jim Carrey has always been a celebrity, but not so much a film star as of late. Some of this smells like inventing an indecipherable mystery, something that gets people talking about him. Boing! doesn't really seem like a cry for help.
Since he played The Grinch in the movies, I wonder if he's on-board for an adaptation of another Seuss character, Gerald McBoing-Boing?

He is bi-polar, this is just run-of-the-mill normal for some suffering from the disease. And with the breakup, he is probably going through a manic stage. Leave the guy alone.

"I love you Philip Morris", What astupid plot for a mivie!?!?? I would rather see a movie about a brother and sister having an affair with each other and they're pet pigmy pig. It would be more ineresting???

Growing up, I thought the Three Stooges were pretty funny - - - but I recently saw an old show of theirs and saw how literally STUPID they were! I have NEVER liked Jim Carrey as an actor, I consider his brand of humor idiotic and a definite "basket case"! Some people think he is a good actor and he may have a wide variety of talent (that escapes me at the moment) - - - but every time I see his face - - - all I see is an overgrown child who BELIEVES he is funny - - - which he is NOT (in my opinion)

I sure do hope Jim is doing well. He has made so many people laugh, it is hard to realize that he is struggling on the inside. I hope he has a support system of friends and relatives that can help him.

I believe that Jim was with Jenny for 5 years & as everyone knows after the 3rd year the sex usually takes a back seat in the relationship so this is probably just his way of saying BOING I'M BACK!!! BRAHAHA!!!
