Julia Roberts Is PEOPLE's Most Beautiful Person

It's been 20 years since her role as a 'Pretty Woman,' but Julia Roberts is looking prettier than ever. For the fourth time, PEOPLE magazine has given her top honors in their annual Most Beautiful issue. "She's never looked more beautiful," said Ryan Murphy, director of her newest film, 'Eat, Pray, Love.' "She is so happy and fulfilled and it shows."

Roberts, 42, took on another flattering title back in January when she signed her first beauty contract to become Lancome's global ambassador. "It's fun to find myself with this type of new career at my advanced age," she said of her new position. After the jump, see what other celebs (like Justin Bieber) had to say about making the list!

At home, Roberts prefers to lounge around in yoga pants sans makeup with husband Danny Moder and their three young children. Even her red carpet routine is fuss-free, as her beauty team revealed that it never takes more than two hours to get her ready. Even for the Oscars! "There is nothing contrived," said her hairdresser. "She believes you have to be comfortable -- you have to have a good time."

Garry Marshall, director of 'Pretty Woman' and longtime friend of Roberts, seems to attribute this relaxed attitude to her husband. "She seems to have made peace with everything," he said. "He is a laid-back guy. Surfing is his big thing. He's not a driving, ambitious husband. They kind of enjoy being with each other without a big circus."

But it's her old pal George Clooney who explains what really makes her the world's most beautiful. "There's a reason why Julia is a timeless beauty, and it has nothing to do with the way she looks," he said. "It has everything to do with who she is."

Justin Bieber: "I spend five minutes on it," he said of his signature hair. "It's part of my image; it's not who I am."
Katy Perry: "When I have no makeup on, which is rare, he tells me I look like the most beautiful girl in the world," she said of fiancee Russell Brand.
Scarlett Johansson: Her two beauty staples? "Red lipstick and sandwiches."
Bradley Cooper: "I always wanted brown curly hair, brown eyes and dark skin. That's because I grew up in an Italian family and wanted everything I didn't have."
Jennifer Aniston: "I feel beautiful when I'm laughing and surrounded by friends that know me and love me and vice versa. A good body scrub and massage do the trick, as well."
Isaiah Mustafa: The newest Old Spice man says the only pampering he does is "dropping off my girlfriend in front of the nail place and then picking her up."
Sofia Vergara: "My natural hair color is blonde. It didn't match the Hollywood stereotype for a Latina woman. I think I should have always had dark hair."

Apparently, all of the "gettin' around" that Julia has done, was left on the cutting room floor of magazines and such. Maybe others heard about it, I never did. But then again, I didn't read much about Julia. How arrogant of her and what a pushy Bi-ch. She is pretty darned impressed with herself. What a shame. People magazine, you are supposed to be OBJECTIVE in your selection process...after all, this isn't a reality show where you vote for "high school" popularity. And by the way, where has Julia been for such a long time? Can you say "has been"? There are a NUMBER of seasoned actresses, and plenty of new ones to have chosen. People sucks!

She is alright. But on this list I think the most beautiful would be... Scarlett Johanson, Amanda Seyfried, Kevin Mckidd. They are all pretty on this list but those three top my list ( "my" is the key there ). Kevin Mckidd is Amazing!

I remember when she didn't shave under her arms for a long time and then said it was no big deal. Uh hello well when you are a movie star celeb it is. And she's so crude. I'm not impressed with her and would certainly not vote her most beautiful. There are many more deserving people. This must be rigged.

Inside and out.
And Sandra Bullock will make a fantastic Mom.
She already is a stepmom to two other girls now.

How very sad one must be to say such negative things about another person. She did not choose to be chosen by the magazine. I can not imagine how she must feel to read such posting. Please people think before you write such negative things.

Diane Lane is the most gorgeous actress out there. She puts women half her age to shame! She not only belongs on this list again but she should be on the cover! And it's a damn shame she is so terribly underrated because she is one hell of an extraordinary actress too. She deserves alot more recognition but they'll always give it to these more "popular" has beens. Julia is nowhere near the most beautiful. These lists are garbage.
