Some might say Lindsay Lohan's doing a fine job of sinking a promising acting career all by herself -- but friends of the actress worry that her outspoken dad might kill any chance LiLo has left to get back on track. Hear what friends fear from Michael Lohan, and get the scoop on the heir apparent to Beyonce's throne -- after the jump.

Lindsay Lohan's Dad Destroying Daughter's Career

Lindsay Lohan's father can't seem to keep his trap shut when it comes to his little girl's problems... real or imagined. The concerned dad even tweeted -- then denied -- a suggestion that Lindsay is HIV positive, and Hollywood insiders tell me he is doing way more harm than good.

"Michael Lohan has put the last nail into Lindsay's career. It's amazing to see a father destroy the last remains of his daughter's career," a casting director friend tells me.

"Lindsay is a great actress who has problems, but make no mistake, her biggest problem right now is her dad."

Her father argues that he is trying to save Lindsay before she becomes "another Hollywood statistic," but I ask you, Michael -- do you really need all the camera crews on hand if you're just trying to help?

Linzey Loman has no one to blame but herself for her troubles. She thinks she's all grown up but she's really just an immature jerk. Stick a fork in her...she's done.

I totally agree, she has killed her own career. She could have gone all the way in this industry but she made bad choices for herself. She is very self destructive and is headed for rock-bottom. I truly hope that she can get herself together and that there is someone out there that can help her. I will say that I think that her mother could have helped her more but she has been riding on Lindseys' stardom.

Some one needs to cut this guy some slack. At least he's not in denial of what is going on with his daughter. Dena needs to wake up and face reality. Her daughter needs help. Stop living off of your children and Hollywood. This is not normal or healthy. Lindsey needs to accpet what she has done to herself and her career or the lack there is. I applaude Michael for trying to get help for his daughter.

The thing is Lindsay never had a career. She made a couple of popular kid's movies before she wrapped her car around a tree on Robertson, catapulting her into the spotlight, no pun intended. She is famous for being in tabloids and having one problem after another. She's had a couple (and I mean 2 or 3) more grown-up roles in movies no one saw since then. She should hope she continues to be tabloid fodder -- otherwise no one would be talking about her at all.

Correction: Lindsay herself is the final nail in her proverbial coffin,with Michael Lohan hammering away on the nail with a ferocity usually reserved for,well,drug addicts.

Dina has made a living on her daughter and is so out of touch with reality it is not funny. Michael may care but he cares more about making a name for himself. Despite this..Lindsay buried her self. All three of them can go sling burgers at McDonalds nad fade away..they would be doing society a favor.

I really see no difference between how her mom failed her and how her dad failed her. They both used their little star to their advantage.
Lindsay needs to move on. None of us have had an easy life, but when we blame, blame, blame, we are powerless to change.
