Randy and Evi Quaid Avoid More Jail Time

Randy and Evi Quaid won't end up back in jail.

The case against the pair, who failed to pay a $10K hotel bill, subsequently missed several court dates and spent some time behind bars, is over, PEOPLE reports.

Charges against the actor have been dropped, while Evi pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor. A judge ordered her to perform 240 hours of community service.

"You pay your bills when you leave, and I suppose that's something we can work on in the future," Randy said after the hearing was over.

Love is an interesting lady with lots of talent,her band HOLE is one of my favorites and her acting in the movie larry flint was epic....

Is it only the vistors of California who have to pay for fines? Or is it because I have never made a movie? My husband and I visited CA for our honeymoon and got a ticket, I protested by mail showing picture of the govenor and his wife both doing the same thing we did and yet they didn't get a fine, but we did. Now the great state has charged late fees and sent me to a collection agency. Exactly how many people in CA get away without paying fines? Why do the non-citizens of CA have to foot the bill for this state? No wonder they are so far in debt, none of the stars have to pay for any problems that they cause. What a Crock!!
