This year's Time 100 brings an array of artists, leaders, heroes and thinkers who are considered the 100 most influential people in the world -- as assembled by Time Magazine. So whose ideas, innovations and actions are shaping our world? Lady Gaga, Sarah Palin and Taylor Swift -- just to name a few.
While there's no denying Gaga's impact on our culture, the cover speaks for itself, with the pop songstress standing next to former President Bill Clinton and professional footballer Didier Drogba. Other notables making the list: President Barack Obama, 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson and 'Glee' actress Lea Michele.
Inside the issue, Grammy Award-winning pop singer Cyndi Lauper admits, "I first heard the name Lady Gaga through a mutual friend. He couldn't stop talking about her. Then I heard her music, and I thought, 'Wow, I love this kid.'"
Lady Gaga's career has skyrocketed over the past year with hits like 'PokerFace' and 'Bad Romance.' But it wasn't just her singing that got people talking. Her outrageous stage performances and wardrobe kept people guessing, and it quickly became obvious that she wasn't just a one-hit wonder.
"When I see somebody like Gaga, I sit back in admiration. I'm inspired to pick up the torch again myself. I did an interview with her once, and she showed up with a sculpture on her head. I thought, 'How awesome.' Being around her, I felt like the dust was shaken off of me. I find it very comforting to sit next to somebody and not have to worry that I look like the freak. She isn't a pop act, she is a performance artist. She herself is the art. She is the sculpture," Lauper adds.
Also in the issue, George Lopez weighs in on late-night host Conan O'Brien. "Conan's tenacity and wit have been an inspiration to me on my own late-night show. I'm happy and proud that we'll be playing on the same team when he comes to basic cable. Welcome back to TV, Conan. I've got a good feeling about this. If there's anything people love more than a happy ending, it's a big comeback," Lopez says.
Other notable Hollywood celebrities on this year's list include Oprah Winfrey, 'Hurt Locker' director Kathryn Bigelow, actor Ashton Kutcher and pop singer Taylor Swift. The full list can be found on Time.com.
Inside the magazine, celebrities weigh in on the Top 100 list. Here's what they're saying:
Sigourney Weaver on James Cameron: "It would be comforting to think of Jim, 55, as superhuman. But the truth is -- although he has extraordinary abilities, appetite and drive -- Jim simply does not recognize human limitations in himself or anyone else."
Phil Donahue on Oprah Winfrey: "There is no match for you in media history. You are not only hot; you are cool: the Dream Girl for millions of ambitious young women whom you've inspired all over the world. You are a once-in-a-century woman. I salute you."
Sean 'Diddy' Combs on Ashton Kutcher: "Most of us want to make as much money as we can, but Ashton, 32, is out to make the world a better place ... This guy will show us the future. And it's gonna be a blast."
Stevie Nicks on Taylor Swift: "Taylor reminds me of myself in her determination and her childlike nature. It's an innocence that's so special and so rare. This girl writes the songs that make the whole world sing, like Neil Diamond or Elton John."
Olivia Newton-John on Lea Michele: "It must be so exciting to be Lea. To be in a wonderfully entertaining musical, playing a character whom millions of people around the world adore and whom young girls emulate -- tell me about it!"

It's amusing that a printed magazine (a dying format) still thinks it can be a gauge of what influences us. Guess what is really no longer influential??? TIME MAGAZINE
Well no one pumps their own product like Time Warner...So I will guess a lot are linked to them...A few CW kids...A few recording artists for Time's music group....Conan who is gonna be on TBS....Time Warner people and a lot of liberals......oh my who would have guessed
you lost me at: 'a lot of liberals'. pumping their own product to make money is a decidedly conservative thing, so is the vile hype given to the phoney opportunistic corporate shill sara palin...
How did Bill Clinton get on the front page? He is such an attention hound. He probably thinks he looks the same when he was in office -sorry, Mr. old Narcistic, you don't.
Yea, why is Bill Clinton there he doesn't do crap, he's an old fogey and Lady Gaga, I mean c'mon, Sarah Palin has been influential she has all the libtards in a tizz constantly, they go wacko over her.
I weep for this world. If someone thinks Sarah Palin is influential, I want to know what she's done. And as far as shaking up the liberals, I think that most people are laughing too hard at what she thinks is intelligent. She is the best fodder for talk show hosts. I just hope she can spell the word "fodder" and use it correctly in a sentence.
If Sarah Palin can exert any influence on you, please measure up for your straight jacket and medication at once. This woman's sphere of influence reaches those who would put their own self seeking before all else. Time should give her number one for that!
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

If either of these 2 influence you, you need immediate help and more medication....

If Lady Gaga is influential, this country is in serious trouble.

Lady Ga Ga is nothing but a Madonna wanna-be. Better singer, yes, but that's about the extent.
