Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Reportedly Split

Halle Berry is reportedly splitting from model Gabriel Aubry, ending a five-year relationship. The couple has a 2-year-old daughter, Nahla Ariel Aubry.

"They've worked out a financial and custody deal. They spent months hammering out a deal with a lawyer," RadarOnline.com reports.

Although we have yet to hear from either beautiful celebrity's camp, Radar's source says the couple's age difference -- he's 34, she's 43 -- played a big part in their split.

"Gabriel just felt it wasn't working anymore," Radar's source says. "When they were first together, the 9-year age difference between them didn't phase him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love. But as time went on he started feeling it more and more. Also, Gabriel started noticing other women and being attracted to others, and he felt it just wasn't right to stay with Halle in those circumstances."

Radar also reports the couple will share equal custody of their daughter.

Berry was previously wed to former baseball player David Justice for five years and to singer Eric Benet for four years.

She has to be one of the most naturally beautiful woman, inside and out.

Beautiful inside and out .. you can possibly know if she is beautiful on the inside. However, you do have some evidence. Several failed relationships and didnt she do a hit run several years ago. I do not see the same beautiful inside that you see.

Halle Berry seems to have ongoing problems with the men in her life. This beautiful YOUNG woman is now alone again. The age difference obviously only mattered to him; it appears he was honest about it and plans to go his own way without deceiving his partner. It will work for you in the end Halle and meanwhile you have one lovely child to live with.

It was really tacky of Gabriel to say that she is too old for him and that he needed a younger woman.When they got together I knew it would not last as he was just using her to further his career and bank account. I would be very interested in seeing their financial settlement that took months to hammer out.If he was being fair to her why didn"t he just leave with what he came with and agree to split support and custody of the child.

How wonderful that Gabriel is honest about his wandering eye. What about his child and the woman he married? Does marriage really mean anything to anyone anymore??? Oh, I want to screw someone new, divorce time. And to think religious zealots say that homosexuality threatens the "sanctity" of marriage. What sanctity?

They were never married. I remember her doing the talk show circuit saying how much she was ready to have a baby. And she always stressed how she was never getting married again. She told Oprah she had been there done that and it wasn't anything that she needed anymore. Then she proceeded to tell why marriage wasn't necessary.

She had a couple of bad experiences, so I could see why she was so skeptical, however I think that she will marry again some day.

For Halle, this makes what #4 i think. It does make you wonder what is her deal behind closed doors. And to be honest she was only with him because he is a young, handsome model and she always made it known that she wanted a child, you never really heard her say much on the marriage aspect. Now as for him, if he really truely wants out because he felt his male testosterone kicking into overdrive, then at least he was honest. However, I dont buy it, its rather timely that he's doing this with that as his reason, especially with all the other high-profile spousel cheating cases that have popped up in recent months, mostly on the mens part, i.e., tiger woods, jesse james, who else did i miss, oh senator john edwards. I think he wanted out before he does or DID his dirt and got caught up for it. At least they kept it clean and mutual for the sake of their daughter. They can both do their parts and still be responsible without making a circus out of it...hopefully.

Halle can have any man she wants, but she seems to be very picky. She can be, shes Halle !!! I think shes simply being very careful, of who she will end up being mairried to. More of us should be so careful.

All men want younger women, and when I hang around younger women, and see how totally STUPID most of them are....it's just a security issue with the men. Men are more insecure than women are (as we age) ....they need a "trophy" younger wife to prove they're a man. They aren't man enough to age gracefully without a younger woman, at least, it sure doesn't SEEM like it! I do not think for one minute that he isn't attracted to the most beautiful woman in the world (Halle)....he is INSECURE and NEEDS YOUNG MEAT to prove his manhood! Got to hand it to him for honesty before he "acts" - hope he gets what he deserves (he'll be sorry he lost her someday).

I thought that they were married and I do not understand someone having a mans child without any thoughts of marrying him. Why would the nut give an age difference as the reason for the breakup. Unless you are giving an excuse for your own weaknesses, do not blame it on an age difference. What does that have to do with wandering around? Those the same age split, but I have never seen that placed as a reason. He probably could not take her stardom and I have never heard of him.
