The song, which premiered on a local radio station this afternoon before making the rounds on YouTube, has all the tropes of a Disney starlet seeking artistic freedom, with Hollywood Records calling it a "self-empowering song" that comes as a "natural progression and sophistication" for the 'Hannah Montana' star. Sounds like someone wants you to know she's "not that innocent.""And if you try to hold me back, I might explode," Cyrus warns. Well, we certainly aren't stopping her. Both of you are wrong, all of her music has sucked and continues to suck.
Miley has grown up to be a beautiful young lady. I am not a fan, im too old to relate to her music. But my neighbors sure like her a lot. While im out side on the weekends, shes all I hear from the back yard. The children next door adore her, I think its so cute. I wish Miley all the very best, shes a hard worker from what I have heard, and seen. She deserve the best.

she's 17 and dating a 20 something year old (i think 23), if that was an average teen wouldn't it be called statuory rape? im not hating but i don't agree that she is a role modle for young girls, especially when she danced on a pole at the award show and her parents cheered her on.

i was 16 and dating a 20 year old and we have been together for 5 years doesnt matter about the age..
Firstly, statutory rape deals with an adult having sex with a child. They are dating you do not know whether they are having sex. It is not illegal to date someone underage, but rather only to sleep with them. Secondly, in most states a 17 year old is not considered a minor in regards to statutory rape laws. And lastly, she didnt dance on a pole like some stripper like you make it out to be. She was singing and performing on top of an ice cream truck. The pole that you are talking of was simply in place for her to hold so as not to fall off of the moving truck.

I agree with above posters. A lame pop song - her studio enhanced pitch corrected voice makes her sound like Britney - that's not a good thing. It's slick pop drivel - no heart or soul because it's all calculated corporate music. The good news is ppl are getting fed up with this crap - the bad news is still enough ppl buy it to keep it around. Oh well, Miley's "career" is on the downslide (whatever happened to her recent movie, don't seem to hear much about that); if there is a God, in a few years she'll be history

So sad how far she has fallen in a matter of months. I am not sure WHO is influencing her decisions at the moment (Liam HemsworthLESS) I suspect, but they are FAILING. Miley is so busy trying to be "grown", she does not realize that she alienating the ones who got her where she is now, her fans. If this is the kind of crap she plans to sing? Then I am glad she is quitting music. And that is HARD for me to say. I am just so disappointed in her. It is like that Hannah episode. She is trying to change to keep an audience that loved her just the way she was, and does not want her to change. Now, I am not sure who Miley is any more. 2 years I have defended her. No MORE. I suspect the video will be whorish and lame too. Brittany, X-stina, Madonna ....already did this Miley. Thought you were a trend setter, not a follower.

i think miley is doing what a normal teen would do..when i was her age i was always doing crazy stuff let the girl live her life.the hollywood life will do that to girls like miley making her look bad you dont even know the girl and you are judging by whats in the magazines and on the news WHO CARES and move on with your lives
I love Miley and like the song OK, but I don't think it will last like Party in the USA or The Climb or even See You Again. I think she is trying too hard to be "edgy" and is losing some of her realness. Maybe it will grow on me more and I am curious what the video will be like. Miley is still my hot dream girl though! And I wouldn't want her tamed.
